Ella's P.O.V
"I'll never love you as long as I live. You're just a waste of my time, Ella." he said, his voice as cool as ice.
I woke up and sat bolt upright, tears streaming down my face. I hugged my knees to my chest and continued to cry. It wasn't long before Jake woke up. He placed his hand on my shoulder.
"You wanna tell me what it was about?" he asked.
"Y-ou s-said that you di-idn't love me." I managed between gasps of air.
"Ella. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love you with all of my heart and I wont stop until the day I die." he said, completely confident in the words that had just left his mouth. "Come here." He motioned for me to lie down. I felt his strong arms find their way around my waist as they had a million times before. He held me so tight that I thought my lungs might have caved in. I didn't care. This was the best feeling ever. Being held. Being loved. Knowing that there's someone out there who cares about you and will be there to support you. Someone who will love you even when you don't know how to love yourself. Someone like him.
I love him.
