A/N- Where we last left off, Ella asked Jake if he liked her, and we all know what she wants him to say. Now, where were we? Oh.........
Jake's P.O.V
"Do you like me?" she inquired, her gleaming eyes full of wonder.
"Well......it depends"I blushed. "If you like me." I looked down because I knew that I had already given it away. What's a guy like me doing liking the only girl that doesn't have feelings for me? She looked down as well, her freckled cheeks turning an adorable shade of crimson.
"I..."She trailed off, seeming distant. She regained her focus. "I like you, Jake. A lot." She played with the hem of her shirt. I was ecstatic, but I didn't show it.
"If I'm being honest, I like you too. I've liked you for the longest time. And in fact, I think I can say I love you." She looked up at me. I knew I had her full attention.
"So, how about that movie?" I asked.
"It sounds great." she replied, smiling. Damn, she's gorgeous. I got up and put the disc into the DVD Player. I sat back down and put the blanket over the both of us. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer. I then withdrew my hand, playing it safe. She grabbed my hand and immediately intertwined it with hers.

I woke up and the end credits were playing. I acknowledged Jake's arm around me by snuggling into his chest. He tapped my shoulder and I looked up so that my eyes met his.
"You fell asleep on me." he said, smiling. and Jake does not smile. Why is he so cute?
He pulled his phone out of his pocket and I looked at the time. It read 10:30. Dang. My curfew was 10. I got up quickly only to be pulled back onto the couch. I looked into his hazel eyes and the message was clear:Stay.
"I can't stay." I said apologetically. He looked hurt. "I'm sorry. My dad will kill me if I'm not home in time."
"Well," he said. "Before you go, I have something to give you." He grabbed my waist with both of his arms and pulled me into a hug. He smelled so good. I wanted to stay in this moment forever. "Goodnight" he said, his chin resting on the top of my head.
"Guess I better get going. Goodnight." I said, grabbing my bag and heading out through his back door. I walked home in the dark, which I didn't mind because it wasn't a long walk and the warmth of his hug was still radiating through me. It didn't take much for me to sleep that night, to say the least. I simply dozed off soundly, replaying the events of the last 24 hours in my head. As I fell asleep, a single thought entered my head. I think I love him.
