Ch.17~Task #2

Namish went and sat beside Swami Om on the bed. Swami Om was untangling his hair.

"Aap kuch batana chahte the mujhe?" He asked. Om looked at him.

"Haan, mein tumhe batana chahta tha ki aaj kal mujhe aisa lag raha hai ki tum in logon se darkar rehne lagey ho...hua Kya hai tumhe? " Om asked him curiously.

"Mein?" Namish asked surprisingly. "Mein kisi se darta nahi hun..."

Swami Om studied him for a while. Namish looked hesistant.

"Mujhe nahi pata tumhare dimag mein kya hai aur kis cheeze is dar betha hai...par mein tumhe yeh yakeen ke saath keh sakta hun ki yeh log barbaad ho jayenge iss show mein...yeh mera promise hai..." Swami Om displayed a determined look. Namish stared at him.

"Hmmmm..." Namish played it cool.

Rohan was called in the Confession Room. He was given a letter by the Head to read it out to everyone in the living room.

Everyone gathered and sat down on the sofa. Aarushi was not feeling well and was blabbering nursery rhymes for a very long time. This time she placed her head on Devaki's lap. Devaki lightly caressed her hair.

Rohan stood at the centre with the letter in his hand. He began reading the letter loudly.

"Aap logon ka iss show mein dusra hafta aarambh ho chuka hai. Dusre hafte ke aarambh hote hi Head aapko logon ko Second luxury budget task sawpte hain. Iss karya ka naam hai 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh'. Iss karya ke anusar iss ghar mein log husband-wife ke jode banaenge. Ghar mein chote bache bheje jayenge. Har ek couple ko ek bacha sawpa jayega. Uss bache ka maa-baap ko pura khayal rakhna hoga. Chote chote alag task diye jaayenge aur har jode ko apne bache ke saath un tasks mein participate karna hoga...Head ne jodo ki list store room mein rakhe hai...weh Sara se nivedan karte Hain ki woh store room mein jaaye, jodo ka list laaye aur zor se sabko sunaye. Goodluck, Head."

"Yeh kya pagalpan hai yaar!" Sid complained. Parul gave him a sympathetic look.

Sara quickly got up from her place and went to the store room. A while later, she reappeared in the hall and took Rohan's place. Rohan went to sit beside Devaki but saw that Aarushi was sitting next to her. So he went and asked Aarushi to shift a little so as to squeeze himself in between Aarushi and Sameeksha on the other side. He placed Aarushi legs on his lap whereas Aarushi's head was on Devaki's lap.

"I feel like your child." Aarushi mumbled in her sleepy, ragged voice.

"Huh?" Both Rohan and Devaki asked.

"Nothing..." Aarushi trailed off.

"Haan toh jodiyan sun lo guys!" Sara said excited. She began reading the list.

"Bandana with Yudhveer." She said. Bandana and Yudhveer looked at each other. Suddenly, Bandana looked down at the floor.

"Sameeksha and Sumedh." Sara said looking at them. Sumedh looked at Sam and winked. Sam's heart began to race.

"Siddharth aur Parul." She announced.

"Yay!" Parul and Siddharth hi-fived each other.

"Devaki aur..."

Dhak. Dhak. Dhak. Dhak. Devaki's heart sped. She hoped it was not Abhishek. Rohan's body also tensed.

"Rohan!" Sara completed. Both of them released a sigh of relief.

"Sara and Abhishek!" She looked at Abhishek and smiled. He returned the smile back.

"Aarushi aur Zayn baccho ki task mein sahayata karenge. Swami Om aur Namish Taneja iss task ke sanchalak banenge. Kyunki Aarushi ki tabiyat theek nahi hai isliye yadi woh beech mein chahe toh aaram kar sakti hai. Get well soon, Head."

"Jessica, kya tumhe lagta hai ki aise samay mein bacho ko ghar ke andar bhejna safe hoga?" Vipul asked the creative director, Jessica.

"Yes sir, it's absolutely safe. Meine baccho ke parents se bhi baat kar li hai...they haven't raised any objection." Jessica informed.

"Thik hai phir..." Vipul trailed off.
He looked at Adhiraj.

"Adhiraj...what's the news upon our programme systems?" Vipul inquired.

"Sir! Situation is under control...humne theek kar diya!" Adhiraj replied.

"Good..." Vipul said.

So I have ranted about this in my other book but I will still say.

So. Sumedh Mudgalkar sent a shout out to me during his recent live chat on Instagram. I am extremely happy because I didn't expect him to notice me.

He said,"Hi Tiwari! .....uhh, Hi Aarushi!" Lol. Then the three of them laughed. But nevermind, I never really cared about that.

Bonus, Sumedh replied to my DM.

Seemed to be a good day so far. But one thing went wrong. I guess, a friend of mine is a little upset. Hopefully, we'll be better.
