Ch.20~Insurgency

"Kya ho raha hai?" Sumedh asked with a confused look.

"Guys, Chill!" Nivi shouted.

"Nivi zyaada chillao mat! Mere kaan ke parde fatt jayenge!" Swami Om yelled. Nivi glared at him.

"Bahar aatankwadi hai..." Bandana mumbled. She was very scared. Yudhveer went and hugged her to keep her from shaking.

"Papa? Mumma?" Sheila asked Bandana and Yudhveer with tearful eyes.

"Haan baby...aao...aap bhi aao..." Bandana took her in her arms.

Devaki was trying to make Chammak Challo sleep. However, Chammak Challo was becoming restless.

"Kya hua hai...? So jao na..." Devaki pleaded. Rohan saw them and came to her. He took her in his arms and paced back and forth while patting her back. Devaki sighed. A few minutes later, Chammak Challo slept. Devaki went and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. She looked so peaceful sleeping in Rohan's arms. Rohan also looked very cute. Devaki kissed him on the cheek as well. He returned her a tired smile.

Suddenly, there was a blast. Everyone shouted. All the kids started crying except the ones who were sleeping. Aarushi  got pissed.

"Yeh kya ho raha hai?" Aarushi got up from her place. She went to the door and was about to open it when Zayn stopped her. He looked so serious.

"Are you crazy?!" He yelled at her. She flinched. Her eyes softened. When she saw the anger in Zayn's eyes, her eyes too became more determined. She grabbed his collar.

"Tum samjhte kya ho haan apne aap ko? Kahan ke shehzaade ho?" Aarushi  snapped. She pushed him. He stumbled backwards. Aarushi opened the gate and went outside.

"Yeh ladki paagal ho gayi hai! " Parul yelled. Chingham was sleeping in her arms but when she yelled he stirred and his eyes flew open. Siddharth quickly calmed him down.

"Arrey? Paagal kya? Mujhe bhi dekhna hai kya ho raha hai bahar. Maybe I can diffuse the blasts." Sara got up and followed Aarushi outside. She latched the door behind them.

"In dono ne hume andar band kar diya hai!" Sumedh shouted.

"Hey bhagwan!" Bandana cried. Yudhveer pulled her closer. She hid her face in his jacket.

"Hume darwaza todhna hoga." Om said. He looked a little tensed.

"Baba ne ek baat toh sahi ki!" Abhishek said and got up from his place. He started banging the door. Zayn was watching him intently.

"Brother, do you really think the door is gonna magically open or break if you keep banging the shit out of it?" Zayn raised his eyebrows. "They have locked us in. If they wanted to open the door thenwhy would they lock it in the first place?"

"Point." Abhishek felt stupid.

Nivi got up from her place. She removed a pin from her hair. She inserted it into the keyhole. Parul rolled her eyes.

"Oye! Einstein ki aulaad! Unhone darwaza bahar se latch kiya hai! Taala nahi lagaya hai jo tu apne baalon mein se pin nikalkar darwaza kholne ki koshish kar rahi hai." Parul said sarcastically. Nivi stuck her tongue out at her.

"Atleast mein try toh kar rahi hun." She said. Parul looked away.

Namish was sitting quietly in a corner. He didn't want to associate with anyone right now.

"Guys, filhal hum andar hi rehte hai...Wait for 5 minites. Dekhna Aarushi aur Sara wapas aayenge." Zayn announced.

"Yeh tum kaise keh sakte ho? Bahar unhe goli lag gayi toh?" Om asked raising his eyebrows. Everyone got angry.
