Siddharth was worried. His mind was going bonkers as he kept opening the doors of various rooms to find Parul. Suddenly, he heard a scream from a nearby room. His heart stopped.
The scream seemed to belong to Parul.
He scurried into the room from which he heard Parul's scream. On opening the door, he saw one of the worst scenes of his life.
He saw a shirtless bulky man lying over Parul who was protesting as best as she could. Tears flew down her cheeks like a waterfall. The man was clearly too heavy to handle and was making it hard for Parul to breathe.
"Oye! Mote hatt!" Siddharth ran towards him and grabbed his hair, yanking him off Parul. Parul took on a deep breath looking at Siddharth. Siddharth punched the man in the stomach and threw him against the wall. He began raining down kicks at him. The man somehow managed to get up and pushed Siddharth on the ground. Parul screamed.
Siddharth fell face first and hit the floor hard. A thin stream of blood began flowing out of his nose. He was too angry to notice his injuries. He roughly wiped the blood that had flown over his lips and again launched himself at the man.
They both wrestled on the floor. Sometimes, it looked as though the man was winning the match while at times Siddharth was winning over. Parul stared at them in horror.
Finally, Siddharth gave a hard blow over the man's head. The man's head jerked and he fell on the ground.
"Thankgod." Siddharth breathed a sigh of relief. Then he looked at Parul's scared expression. "Chinta mat karo...meine isse khalo behosh kiya hai. Meine usse itni zor se nahi maara..."
Parul looked at him. Fresh tears brimmed her eyes. This times they were happy tears. Out of nowhere, she stood up and gave Siddharth a bear hug. As soon as she hugged him, the tears started falling down and she began sobbing. Siddharth started patting her back and whispering encouraging words in her ear.
"Shh...sab theek ho jayega....chinta may karo....Mein hoon na tumhare saath.." He whispered in her ear. Parul drew herself back and stared in his brown eyes. She seemed to be mesmerized by the way Siddharth's eyes seemed to be changing shades of brown.
Slowly and gently, both the lovebirds leaned in.
