Ch. 13~Rohan gets to know the truth.

Sameeksha and Sumedh were sitting in the jail. Sameeksha was curled up in her blanket as it was cold outside. The open-air jail was situated next to the pool. At night, the atmospheric temperature used to drop drastically.

Sumedh was staring into space as Sameeksha admired the twinkling stars.

"Hum yahan Kya kar rahe hai yaar!" Sameeksha exasperated. Sumedh looked at her.

"Hum dand bhoogat rahe hai..." Sumedh stupidly stated. Sameeksha rolled her eyes.

"Oh. Mujhe laga hun idhar moojhra kar rahe hai." She replied sarcastically. Sumedh chuckled.

"C'mon yaar Sam, ab hum ek saath ek hi jail mein Hain...let's get to know each other better..." Sumedh suggested.

"Hmm...chalo theek hai...you start.." Sam replied.

"Hum tum...ek jail mein band ho...aur chaabi kho jaaye..." Sumedh hummed. Sameeksha gave him a funny look.

"Kya..?" She asked amused by Sumedh weird singing.

"Nah, kuch nahi...acha batao...tumhare family mein kaun kaun hai...?" Sumedh asked.

"Mein, mere mom-dad, chota bhai aur mere dadaji rehte the..." she trailed off.

"Hmm.."

"Aur tumhare?"

"Mein, aai aur baba bas." Sumedh replied.

"Tum akele bete ho ghar mein..? No siblings?" Sam asked curiously.

"Yup! The one and only..." Sumedh answered.

"Nice.." Sameeksha said.

"Any boyfriend?" Sumedh asked. Sameeksha was caught back by the sudden question. Her mouth slightly parted.

"Uhh...tum yeh kyun pooch rahe ho? Propose karne ka irada hai kya??" Sameeksha wriggled her eyes. Sumedh laughed.

"Haan bas waisa hi samjh lo." Sumedh  chuckled.

"Erm...no. No boyfriend. Yet." Sameeksha winked. Sumedh pretended to get a heart attack. Both ended up into fits of laughter.

"Yaar mujhe thand lag rahi hai ab..." Sumedh complained.

"Toh andar se blanket mangwa lo na apni..dekho Sara aur Abhishek udhat bethe hain.." Sam suggested.

"Yeah, you're right. Hold on." Sumedh was about to call out to Abhishek and Sara but they went inside the house. They were so engrossed in a topic that they did not pay Sumedh and Sameeksha any head.

No one was in the garden. Everyone had gone to eat dinner. Sumedh sighed.

"Well, lagta hai aaj mujhe thand mein hi thitoorna padega..." Sumedh tried to make himself sound less awkward. Sam pursed her lips. She couldn't let him stay out in the cold. It was very cold and he could easily catch a flu.

"C'mon in!" She signalled him to enter the same blanket as her. Sumedh looked surprised.

"Are you sure?" Sumedh asked like a true gentleman.

"Ofcourse! Aao fatafat." Sam said.

Sumedh smiled and got up from his bed.

Nivi and Karan were in the kitchen. Karan was irritating Nivi for the past one hour as Nivi tried to make Rotis.

"Hoop! Hoop! Hoop!" Karan was behaving like a monkey.

"Karan bhago yahan se! Mera dimag kharab mat karo!" Nivi said utterly frustrated.

"Arrey wah! Aaj tak jo sabko irritate karti aa rahi hai aaj meine uss haseena ko irritate kar diya! I deserve a Grammy!" Karan declared.

Nivi rolled her eyes.

"Waise...aaj bahut hot lag rahi ho..."

"Woh toh mein humesha lagti hun."

"Feisty. I like it." Karan winked. Nivi winked back.

"Ab jao." Nivi said.

"Jaa raha hun...phir milte hai baby!"

Nivi threw her chappal at him.

Devaki was combing her hair while looking into the mirror. She had successfully managed to avoid Abhishek till now.

Well, now they can't avoid each other forever right?

Abhishek and Rohan walked into the room engaged in a casual conversation. Suddenly, Abhishek 's attention fell on Devaki.

"Devaki. Long time no see, huh?" Abhishek asked with an amused smile. Devaki tensed. Rohan noticed this.

"Tum dono ek dusre ko jaante ho?" Rohan asked.

"Ofcourse! Hum dono ne law ki padhai ek saath ki hai! Kyun, hai na Devaki?" Abhishek looked at Devaki. Devaki slightly nodded her head.

Suddenly, Sara called Abhishek.

"Aaya!" He called back. He left.

Rohan turned to Devaki.

"Sab sach sach batao mujhe. Kya ho raha hai yeh sab...?" Rohan asked Devaki.

Devaki looked around to see if anyone was there. Aarushi, Bandana, Zayn, Yudhveer, Parul and Sid were walking towards the room.

She grabbed Rohan's hand and dragged him to the washroom.

She pushed him inside a stall and closed the door behind them. The stall was small so both of them were standing very close to each other. They could literally feel each others breath on their faces.

"Woh actually aisa hua..." Devaki told something to Rohan but it could not be heard as both of them removed their microphones.

After 5 mins, Rohan screamed in anger,"KYAAA?!!! USKI ITNI HIMMAT!"
