4. Duets and Solo.

Chapter 4: Duets and Solo.

The rumors of Finn and Quinn breaking up out of the blue, spread like wild fire, and also the news of Puck in juvie. The whole glee club was in the choir room waiting for their teacher to come in and tell them about what was going on.

"Puckerman is in juvie." Mr. Schue said. Everyone just talked about it, and Tina just said it was a matter of time that Puck did something.

"When is he getting out?" Mike asked after glaring at his girlfriend to what she said about Puck. Matt just sat there in silence as he heard Brittany say how dumb his friend was. He was starting to get pissed.

"Guys! Let's have some sympathy." the teacher said. Matt snorted out loud and everyone continued to ignore him.

"For a guy who put his needs before the team's? We need his voice and his bad boy stage presence." Finn said angrily. Matt got up his chair angrily. That got everyone's attention

"Is that all you guys fucking care about? That he's only needed for his voice and shit? Fucking hell man, it feels like Rachel thing all over again, all you guys care about is what the glee club needs. Puck has been having some really shit days, or in case you guys forgotten that its already been one fucking year since Rachel left, and today it's been months since baby girl left, and he remembers he can't be there with her. Or have you guys fucking forgotten about that? Because Queen Blonde Bitch over there made it her mission to forgot about everything that has happened last year? 

No you guys fucking don't because you guys don't give any fuck at all!" Matt boomed out. Everyone just sat there shocked, that he called out Quinn and everyone else. Quinn just sat there trying not to cry. "I'm sorry Quinn but I'm just saying the truth. All you guys fucking care about is what's best for the club, whatever happened to that promise we all made that we are going to start caring about others after we lost Rachel huh?"

"Am I interrupting something?" They heard someone ask. Everyone turned to see the blond jock Sam Evans and Mr. Schuester walked to him and started to talk to break the tension. Matt sat back down far from the others and soon Mike sat next to him.

"Guys this is Sam Evans, he's the new member of the glee club." Mr. Schue introduced him to everyone.

"Hey everyone, I am Sam. Sam I am. And I don't like green eggs and ham." Sam said hoping that will ease up on the tension was going on. After hearing that the club needed another person because Puckerman is in juvie, he went out to look for the teacher and auditioned for him.

"Oh wow he has no game." Santana said after a while of silence. Mr. Schue took that as a sign to continue.

"So guys what's a duet?" Mr. Schue asked with mischievousness in his tone.

"A blanket" Brittany answered. Everyone stared at the ditsy blonde and then turned back to the teacher.

"Since last year we really didn't get to do the duet, I was thinking this year we do it again." While Mr. Schuester talked Kurt nudged to Mercedes and said that Sam Evans was team gay because of his hair. The both pair giggled and listened to Mr. Schue again. "And since you guys enjoyed Rachel and Kurt's diva off last year, I am making this a competition. Winner get a dinner to Breadstix, on me."

The whole club cheered except for Sam who seemed confused at who is Rachel. "Uhm who's Rachel?" he asked. Everyone looked down and even Mr. Schue looked rather guilty.

"She is this club's star." Kurt managed to say.

"If she's the star, then where is she?" Sam asked.
