Chapter 5: The Rocky Horror Show.

Kurt was in daze. He couldn't seem to snap out of it and that worried Mercedes, Tina, Matt, Mike and Artie. The rest were oblivious to how Kurt was reacting.

"Kurt are you alright?" Mercedes asked her best friend. Kurt snapped out of it and smiled at everyone.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just had a good dream." he said lying. In fact he wasn't okay. After Friday night's call, he was so sure that he was dreaming, but his call history said otherwise.

He tried not to cry when he heard Rachel's soft voice, but when she kept apologizing and told him how much she missed him, he was full out crying. He asked her where she was, but she said couldn't say, he asked her if she was coming back, she didn't say nothing, but a maybe. Kurt didn't want to get his hopes up very high. They talked for a little bit, saying how she was taking up more dance classes and singing classes. He just updated her on how everyone was, he was about to tell her about Puck when she whispered she had to go.

Kurt didn't want to hang up, but he told her that he missed her so much and that he loves her too. Rachel let out a small gasp and whimpered. She let out a small bye with an I love you too, and he heard her cry a little. He went to sleep that night, still crying, and dreaming of her coming back very soon. He knew that if he told everyone, it would spread like wild fire and start up rumors so he said nothing.

That's how he went on with his day, thinking of the places where Rachel could be, he swore he heard a little accent on her but he wasn't sure since he was still in shock that Rachel had called him. He wanted to call her again, he wanted to hear voice. He didn't realize how much he missed her and how painful it was for him, when he realized how desperate he was for her to call again.

"Kurt, are you sure you're alright? You look like you're about to cry." Matt said as he caught up with him on their way to glee club, the bell rang and no one was around, but he still spoke in a low voice.

"I got a call last night." he admitted to Matt.

"Kurt, is that the rea-" Matt began.

Kurt quickly cut him off. "It was Rachel." he whispered so low, that Matt almost missed it. Matt stood there shocked staring at the boy in front of him. He wanted to ask him so many questions when Mr. Schue saw them.

"Hey guys, come on. I have this week's assignment and it's going to involve everyone." Mr. Schuester said excitedly. Kurt and Matt followed their teacher, they sat besides each other with Mercedes on his other side and Artie right below them and Mike and Tina behind them a stair up.

Kurt put on a fake smile and elbowed Matt to stop acting weird, Kurt sat close by Brittany and asked her what she was going to be for Halloween. And all she responded was a peanut allergy. Kurt just stared at her for a bit and then turned forward mumbling about how she's cute but often in her own world.

Mr. Schuester finally walked in with scripts. "Great news guys. I've had a little inspiration. This week's lesson isn't really a lesson. It's a musical." he said. Kurt started to beam, they all waited of their teacher to say what musical it is. "We are doing Rocky Horror!"

Most of members started to chat with each other happily and saying what characters except for some who didn't know what the musical was about, Finn being one of them saying he'd never seen it.

Kurt raised his hand almost looking concern. "Mr. Schue I admire your choice of the groundbreaking 70's musical choice. But aren't you worried about the adult themes might be a point of controversy. I mean a school in Texas couldn't do Rent, it caused an outrage and were forced to cancel the show."
