7. The Substitute.

Chapter 7: The Substitute.

Things were getting back to normal. Coach Bieste didn't quit at all, and the guys kept winning their football games, the glee club was doing well until Lauren Zizes got sick with the flu.

Mr. Schuester was making his way to the glee club, when Sue Sylvester passed by. He greeted her and she told him it was now Principal Sue. Mr. Schuester was confused to why she was principal now. He asked for Figgins and she told him that he was out sick.

Lauren was walking by when she accidentally sneezed right in front of Mr. Schuester's face, as she headed to the front of the school. He gulped, he knew he was in for it. He went through the beginning of the morning with his head pounding.

When Mr. Schuester arrived to the glee club, he felt very feverish and didn't look so well. He walked in and greeted his kids heading to the board. "All right guys. Uhm time to start thinking about song selections." He stuttered out.

Everyone in glee club was giving him a worried look as he somewhat slurred his words and he looked like he was going to puke at any moment but still no one said anything and waited for him to say something about him being sick.

Mr. Schuester was trying to convince himself that he wasn't feeling sick. But once he turned around to face his kids, they no longer looked like their teen selves instead they were now ten years old.

"Looking good, Puckerman. Someone's been eating their Wheaties." Tiny Matt teased.

"These guns are fully loaded." Tiny Puck said smiling at his friend. Mr. Schuester tried rubbing his eyes as if he were dreaming. But all the ten year olds were still there.

"He is ab-ulous." Tiny Sam inserted. The whole class laughed while some continued to talk.

"Someday I'm gonna go to Paris and visit the oeuvre." Tiny Brittany said.

"I just want to dance." Tiny Mike said to no one.

"Mr. Schuester, you look a little green." Tiny Mercedes finally said something about their teacher current state.

"Um I think, I'm gonna go see the nurse. But first I feel like I should get you guys a sitter." Mr. Schuester mumbled out. Everyone stared at him in confusion and watched as their teacher made his way out.

"Well I say we still show up to glee practice, if no teacher shows up we leave." Finn began to say. Everyone began to roll their eyes.

"We need to start working on song selections, we are almost around the corner to sectionals." Kurt began to sneer at the tall teen. He was just like Mr. Schuester waiting till the end to give out what songs that are going to sing.

"But we need Mr. Schuester." Finn began to say.

"No what we need to do is brain storm. To be prepared to show Mr. Schuester that we still work hard when he's out. That's what we need to do Hudson." Mercedes said defending Kurt. Everyone nodded and began to leave.

"So we're meeting up still for glee practice then?" Finn asked confused. All of them ignored the tall teen and went on to their morning classes.

Puck and Matt were currently staring at Mike in disgust, since it looked like the Asian couple were trying to get it on in front of the whole school.

"Alright shows over you disgusting perverts." Matt yelled not taking it anymore. He marched up to the couple and separated them. "If you two idiots can't wait till you get home, take it to the closet."
