"Are you okay?
"Please reply?"
"Hey??"
"I am sorry we will work this out don't ignore me"
"We are married we need a chance together"
I checked my phone and read messages. Rihaan was worried. I called him up.

"Hey where have you been?" He said sounding frustrated.
"I am sorry I went out yesterday forgot my phone and when I came back I fell asleep" I replied.
"Okay. Well I miss you. Come back soon. How is Maldives treating you?" He asked.
"Everything is great. I will come in 5 more days." I said.
"Okay. Well I am at work and have a meeting right now. Call you after its done" Rihaan said.

It seemed like he had realised things and he wanted to work on our problems. He was being considerate again. I called my mother and spoke to my kids and then decided to book a flight and surprise Rihaan.

I got ready and headed out. I went shopping to buy something for Rihaan and kids. I was inside the mall exploring and looking for unique things which would always remind me of this trip.

I finished buying things and left the mall. I went to a coffee shop nearby and started surfing the net looking for tickets. There was a ticket available for the next day but the rates were too high. Being Rihaan's wife I never had to worry about the price tags but as an individual I didn't like spending much. I looked  for more tickets and found one which didn't cost a fortune. I booked it immediately.

I was surfing the net when I noticed there was shooting going on nearby. I went outside to see what they were shooting. I spotted Shaan. Now I understood he was in Maldives for shoot. Without giving a second thought I decided to leave.

I started walking towards the other side when I heard Shaan call my name. I stopped and turned towards him. He was coming towards me. I asked, "What?", "Nothing. How are you? You drank way too much yesterday." He said. "I am fine and as far as I remember you left again so please stop asking me out or whatever I do not want to do this" I said. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing just that I don't wanna be near you now. You and I both are married and meeting like this is not right" I said. "Hey hey we aren't doing anything wrong. We are just meeting each other like normal people do" He said trying to convince me. "Look I don't care about all this." I said and turned the other side to leave from there. He held my hand and stopped me, "Meet me tonight please. I promise I won't leave" He said. "Bye" I said and left.

I roamed in the city for a while and headed back to the hotel. As I reached hotel the receptionist handed me a parcel. She said somebody had sent it for me.

I took the parcel and went upstairs. I read the tag it said "For you my heart", I opened it quickly. It was a beautiful dress. It was from Rihaan of course. I called him up immediately.
He picked up instantly.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Well I am assuming you got that dress?" He said.
"Well yes! Where are you?" I asked curiously.
"In your heart." He replied
"Well stop flirting. Tell me na?" I asked.
"I am in office. I ordered it from a store in Maldives for you. When you come back wear this" He said.
"Well why?" I asked.
"Just do as I say." He said.
"Okay" I said.
We spoke for sometime and he went back to work. He did change a lot. He missed me and I couldn't wait to see him again.

The day passed by and I ordered food and watched movies on my laptop. Time passed by and it turned dark outside.

Suddenly I heard a knock on my door. It was Shaan again. Shaan asked me to have dinner with him. I told him I didn't want to do so. He insisted and I gave in. He said he wanted to talk to me.

We went downstairs at the restaurant which was situated inside the hotel where I was staying. We ordered and started talking, he asked if I wanted to drink something and I denied.

We spoke and ate our food. He started speaking about things which had passed.
"You know I only left for London because it was my dream", "Hmm" I didn't talk much about it. "Your father never wanted us to be together Ria, it was only for him" He said. "What?" I asked. "The way he looked at us, he never wanted us to be together." He said. "You left without saying that's what hurt me the most. You didn't meet me for the last time. Meeting you is not worth my time now" I said in anger. "Well I am sorry I had no other option." He said. "You did. You could have met me one last time, you could have told me that you were leaving. The worst part was you didn't. You blocked me." I said. "I am sorry" He said. "No please. Don't say sorry. Thank god for this. Thank god for this trip and thank god I met you. Thank you for leaving me last night, you can only do that. You can only walk away" I pleaded. He was speechless. "Well my dinner is over and I need to go. Thank you for everything and please don't try to meet me ever again" I said.

I left from there feeling proud and it felt like the burden from my shoulder was gone. It felt like I was free and I always wanted this last time.

Sometimes closure is all you need and I got mine. Almost after 15 years and it felt amazing. I wanted to fall in love all over again and this time with Rihaan.
