After going over 20/80 pages of the script, practice was finally over.
"Alright guys, good job! We got some good work in today, can't wait for tomorrow!" Bisky said, still fangirling over the two.
Killua rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, whatever you old hag." He said, putting his hands in his pockets.
The two were soon at each others throats again, leaving the others to break them up.
Gon smiled at Kurapika and Leorio.
"I'm glad that you agreed to participate in the play Leorio Sensei!" Gon said, happily.
Kurapika looked at Gon.
I guess I could say that I'm pretty glad Leorio Sensei agreed myself. I mean this would be my first kiss and all. . .
Leorio rubbed the back of his head.
"Don't mention it Gon, I'm glad I was able to help." He said, patting the small boy's head.
Gon nodded and went back to Killua who seemed to be beat up. He giggled and hugged his white haired friend tightly.
Today didn't seem to be as bad as he thought it would be.
Soon Kurapika was saying goodbye to everyone and so was Leorio.
Leorio saw Kurapika halfway down the hallway and called out to him.
"Oi, Kurapika!" He called out, causing the blonde haired boy to turn around.
"Yes, Leorio Sensei?" He asked, waiting for his teacher to catch up with him.
Leorio smiled and soon caught up to him, the two then began to walk down the hall together.
"Are you comfortable with me having the role of the teacher in the play? I mean if not, I can quit." Leorio said, reassuringly.
Kurapika's eyes widened as his heart sank.
Why does he think I don't feel comfortable with him playing the role as my teacher? Was it something I said? Was it the way I reacted to the kiss scene? Did Bisky tell him something?!
"Kurapika."
"Kurapikaa."
"Hm?" Kurapika finally answered to Leorio calling his name.
"Kurapika, you okay? You froze up after I asked about you being okay with me playing the role of the teacher in the play." Leorio said, concerned.
Kurapika blushed and looked up into Leorio's eyes, suddenly feeling brave.
"Sorry, I-I was thinking about something. . But I'm fine with you playing the role of the teacher in the play, so please don't quit Leorio Sensei!" He said, bowing quickly.
Leorio blushed at the gesture.
"Oi, Oi, Oi! There's no need to be like that Kurapika, of course I won't quit the play." Leorio said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
Kurapika looked up and smiled.
"Really then? I'm glad!" He said, happily.
"See you tomorrow in class then Leorio Sensei?" Kurapika asked.
"Can't wait." Leorio replied with a wink.
And with that Leorio walked down the hallway and out to the school's parking lot, leaving Kurapika to wonder why his teacher just winked at him.
