Since only 6 people from each team could play on the court at a time, List voluntarily sat out on Kurapika's team, and Bonolenov sat out on Feitan's team.
Everyone took their positions and Kurapika gave the ball to Gon who was going to be the server.
Gon threw the ball into the air and smacked it over the net as hard as he could.
It was right on the boundary of being in or out, but since the ball was so amazingly fast, Feitan's teammate Machi could not return the serve.
"Alright, 1 point for Kurapika's team!" Coach Knuckle called out, updating the score on the scoreboard.
Feitan's team then rotated clockwise.
The ball was now Feitan's. He tossed the ball to their server, Phinks.
He began to wind his arm back as if he were trying to unwind his muscles before tossing the ball upwards.
He hit it with a perfect amount of strength, making it zoom past Kurapika's head and towards Hisoka.
Hisoka just smirked as he smacked the ball, returning the powerful serve easily.
Everyone in the stands gasped due to being amazed.
Nobunaga waited for the ball to come a certain distance before smacking it back.
He made the ball curve slightly to the right, making it go towards Gon.
"Tch, idiot!" Feitan's entire team thought as they realized what was happening.
Gon smiled and jumped up into the air and above the net, smacking the ball towards the ground.
"Whoa, what a nice spike, another point for Kurapika's team!" Coach Knuckle said, adding another point to the scoreboard.
Everyone in the stands cheered, loving how the match was getting intense.
It was now, once again, Kurapika's ball.
Everyone on Kurapika's team rotated one spot over clockwise.
It was now Biscuit's turn to serve.
She giggled softly as she heard people whispering about why Kurapika had even picked her since she seemed weak.
She quickly tossed the ball into the air and smacked it as hard as she could, making the ball fly towards Feitan's head.
Feitan ducked just in time, causing no one to be able to get the ball which resulted in another point for Kurapika's team.
The gymnasium was quiet for a bit, wondering if what they saw actually just happened, but as soon as they came to their senses they began to cheer extremely loud.
Biscuit just blew kisses towards the crowd.
It was now Feitan's ball.
Everyone on his team moved one spot clockwise.
It was now Feitan's turn to serve.
Feitan smirked evily as he threw the ball in the air and smacked it as hard as he could, making the ball fly at an amazing speed towards Kurapika.
Kurapika tried to get his hands ready, but the ball was too fast.
He was soon hit in the face by the ball.
The crowd then "oohed".
Gon then ran over to Kurapika who was now kneeled down on the floor, holding his face.
Blood could be seen dripping onto the floor.
Gon's eyes widened as he glared at a now laughing Feitan.
A wound had now opened up on Kurapika's forehead.
The blond haired boy looked up and smiled, winding slightly in pain. "I'm fine." He said, darkly.
"Let's finish the game." He said in a deep dark voice as his eyes turned scarlet red.
