The next morning the three boys woke up to the sound of Kurapika's alarm clock playing a song:
"You'd think by now that I would have learned not to play with fire if I don't wanna get burned but I'm a pyromaniac and your veins are full of gas~"
Killua groaned and threw a pillow at it. "Turn it off... 5 more minutes.." He mumbled into his own pillow.
Gon woke up immediately and smiled at the sleepy white haired male beside him.
"Now you see why he's always late if I don't call him." Gon said, giggling.
He began to shake Killua while yelling for him to get up.
The white haired boy sighed as he slowly arose from his makeshift bed, which consisted of pillows and a blanket.
"Fine, I'm up." He said, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
Kurapika smiled at the two as he walked over to the alarm clock and turned it off.
"Alright, you two go hop in the shower and I'll make us some breakfast." Kurapika said, chuckling.
The two quickly got up at the mention of food and nodded. "Okay!" They both said at the exact same time.
"Jinx, you owe me a Chocorobo!" Killua yelled, before Gon could even register was what happening.
"Dang it!" Gon said, pouting.
The two put their sandals on before running up the stairs towards the bathroom.
Kurapika just shook his head. They acted like kids at times.
He sighed as he looked at the mess located on the floor. Blankets and pillows were everywhere and so were candy wrappers.
He decided that he would clean it up later.
He walked towards the kitchen and began to get out all the ingredients he needed. He took out the Salt, Pepper, and pancake mix from the cabinet and placed it on the counter before getting out bowls. He turned to the right and grabbed some eggs out of the egg carton before taking out a whisk.
He took out a skillet and placed it on the counter, before plugging it up into the circuit.
He turned it on high and grabbed a spatula from the cabinet.
He then poured the pancake mix into the bowl, before adding water to the mixture.
He began to stir the mixture up with the whisk before determining if he needed to add more water or not.
He decided that the mixture was good before he began to pour 3 circles of the mixture onto the skillet.
While the pancakes cooked he reached into the freezer and pulled out a pack of sausages. He pulled out a pan and put 6 sausages on it, before putting the oven on to preheat.
He turned his attention back to the pancakes and flipped them over, proud at the perfect texture on each one.
He picked up a stick of butter and ran them over the pancakes, before letting the bottom cook for a bit.
After a minute he checked the bottom of each pancake before putting them onto a plate.
The oven soon beeped signaling that it was done preheating, so Kurapika slipped the pan with the sausages inside before returning his attention to the pancakes.
He poured another batch onto the skillet before deciding to make the egg mixture.
He began to crack the eggs at a fast pace, making sure that there weren't any egg shells, before adding the salt and pepper and whisking it together.
He looked back to check on the pancakes, before quickly flipping them over.
He soon finished making the pancakes and put them in the microwave before returning his attention to the eggs.
He took out a pan and poured olive oil inside it before turning the stove on high.
He let the oil heat up before pouring the egg mix inside and constantly stirring it so it wouldn't stick and burn.
After a few minutes the eggs were ready and Kurapika covered the pan with a top.
That was when he heard Killua and Gon come down the stairs giggling.
"We're done showering!" Gon announced, walking into the kitchen.
Killua walked into the kitchen and gasped. "I didnt know you could actually cook, I was expecting burnt food or something." Killua said, honestly.
Gon and Kurapika couldn't help but laugh at that.
"Well, since I live alone I had to learn how to cook eventually you know." Kurapika said, smiling.
He took the sausages out the oven before turning it off and taking 3 plates out of the cupboard.
He began to fix everyone's plates asking them what they specifically wanted, before handing it to them.
The two quickly sat down and began to eat.
"Dang Kurapika, you can cook!" Killua said.
"Yeah, this is delicious!" Gon said, agreeing with Killua.
"Thanks, so Orange or Apple Juice?" Kurapika asked.
"Orange!" Gon called out with a mouthful of food.
"Apple." Killua called out, also stuffing his face.
Kurapika laughed as he grabbed the cartons of juice out the fridge and poured it into their cups.
"Thanks!" They both said.
He smiled and nodded as he poured himself a glass of apple juice before fixing his own plate.
He sat down beside Gon before turning on the TV.
He soon heard Gon screaming.
"Give me back my sausage!" Gon yelled out.
Killua laughed and shook his head. "Nope!" He said, taking a bite out of it.
Gon pouted before sneakily taking one of Killua's pancakes.
"Hey!" Killua called out, making the three of them laugh.
These two will always make my day brighter.
