23: the fall {part.1}

Camilla's pov:

I would never have thought this would happen. Never in a million years.

On July 5th, Ryan Ross was pronounced dead. The police found his corpse in his own bedroom. A gun on the floor next to him, the dark, crimson blood surrounding his feeble body.

It was a suicide.

Now you may be thinking, how could this have happened? What was a cause for him to do this?

I can't help but to think I caused him to reach his breaking point. I mean, I knew he was struggling, especially with his drinking problem. I would have never have thought though, that he would ever do that.

There was no note, no will, no nothing.

Today, was his funeral. Me and Brendon sat in the back, away from the glares and whispers that would follow us as we walked. They think it our fault that he was depressed, but what other factors were there to prove that?

I haven't stopped crying since the day we found out. No matter how many times Brendon tries to calm me down, it doesn't help. My emotions get the best of me, and they come flooding right back. Ryan, my best friend, was gone. I just can't help thinking that he'll come back.

A/N: You guys probably hate me for taking such a long hiatus from this book, and I am truly sorry. I haven't had the motivation to keep going with this one, and the plot is screwed up.. However, I know how this will end :) There will only be about three chapters left in this book, but I'll try to keep you guys happy.
