Boy meets Boy

Yoongi's confession was always on Hoseok's mind, no matter what he did. He even tried pretending like it never happen so he could joke with Yoongi once more. But whenever Yoongi came around him, his mind would go blank but was quickly filled with what had happen that night, and he would act different, not himself and he didn't like that.

It was hard to comprehend Yoongi's confession, how could he feel that way towards him? How could anyone? Seeing people online absentmindedly say 'I love you Hoseok' or to the other members did bring him joy but it felt unreal, like those people online were unreal and it was all some joke but it wasn't. Neither was Yoongi's confession, but this was different. It was Yoongi.

A boy he's known for seven years. They practically grew up together, learning about this new life that neither of them knew existed for them. So it was a understatement to say that it was a shock that Yoongi confessed to him. Yoongi was never the one to express himself freely he even said so in a interview, also stating he wished he was more like Him and Jimin because they openly let out their feelings, which was true but he never expected him to say he liked him.

When Yoongi stayed back that night with him to watch him practice his 'Boy meets Evil' choreography he didn't expect anything off, until he started asking questions if he was straight then if he ever liked a guy. He should've gotten a hint about Yoongi's feelings towards him but he didn't, how could he? He only ever saw a friendship with the older rapper so he never questioned it but he did have questions, which he asked.

After that he knew Yoongi was questioning his sexuality, or he knew but wouldn't admit it. And Hoseok understood, the idea of being gay or lesbian in this industry was scary, and he couldn't imagine what it would be like to come out and not know what will come of your career after that, so he wanted to show Yoongi that no matter what gender he was interested in he was going to stand beside him because they were friends after all, even brothers you could say.

Flashing forward to when he came back with the others from the store, and seeing Yoongi sitting on the floor playing Mario Cart was surprising but he was glad that Yoongi finally came out of his room, which he was in all day. At the time he didn't know what kept him away from everyone until it was him he was avoiding.

But he didn't know that yet. And when they were joking about Him or Taehyung kissing Yoongi with whoever lost he went along but soon remembered about their conversation with him at the dance studio until they were half way through the game. So he purposely lost because if he didn't he knew Jimin would force Taehyung to kiss Yoongi and Tae would go along for a good laugh or at least for a good reaction from Yoongi. So he lost just so he could stop the others from joking around, but when he saw Yoongi's face when he turned down the kiss he thought that Yoongi might think he didn't want to because he was gay but that wasn't the case. Then he playfully joked if he wanted a kiss from him, but Yoongi had gotten all flustered and he thought it was cute so he laughed.

So when Yoongi said he liked a guy it wasn't surprising to him, he knew. So he did his best to comfort his Hyung but he didn't know that comforting Yoongi was just hurting him more.

Then Yoongi said it was him that they were talking about. It had caught him off guard. His mind was filling with different scenarios, he tried to tell Yoongi that they're always together so it could be just an honest mistake but he was cut off and Yoongi looked at him with watery eyes and tear stained cheeks, then he knew it wasn't some joke or some honest mistake. It was real.

Yoongi's tears and his sobbing were real, and they were from finally opening up about his feeling's, feelings about him. Then he was disgusted, not at Yoongi but at himself. He was the reason Yoongi was crying, he was the reason Yoongi had such strong emotions and he was angry at himself. He hated seeing Yoongi in such a bad state, he just wanted him and all the other members to be happy but he knew that couldn't always happen.
