[I'm so original Ha Ha] •Y/N's P.O.V• *Beep!Beep!Beep!Beep!* I groaned.Another day of High School.Yay.I lazily crawled out of bed,basically saying I rolled over and fell.Whatever.The only good thing about school is my friends,Teresa and Aris and my crush,Newt.Yes,you guessed it.He's one of the most popular guys at school,so I have no chance with him.There's also Thomas and Minho,but they aren't my type.I sighed and got up,doing my usual morning routine ; wake up,bathe,eat,and cry internally about having to go to school."Bye,Ma!"I yelled to my mother,even though she wouldn't acknowledge.I stepped out of the house,locked the door and listened to my favourite song,Dear No One by Tori Kelly.I love that song because it just describes me.(if you haven't listened to that song,you really should.It's amazing and relatable,for me:3)I walked to my school because it wasn't too far,but it wasnt too near either.As soon as I got there,I went to my locker and grabbed the stuff that I needed and waited for Teresa and Aris."Hey,Y/N!" I heard from a distance.I looked to where it was coming from."Hey,Aris!"I said as I saw him.As he neared,I asked him."Where's Teresa?She should be here by now" "I don't know.Maybe she's caught up in something.Or she's sick"Just as soon as he said that,Teresa came running to us."Guys!Guys!" "Woah,calm down,Teresa"I said as she caught her breath."I'm...sorry"She breathed out."But Ben asked me to prom!!" "Ben?As in Ben Walker,your crush?!"I squealed,happy for her."Shhh...But yeah,it's him!!"We both squealed as Aris calmed us down."Alright,alright.Y/N,who are you taking to prom?" "Uhh...No one"I said embarrassed."Oh okay,do you wanna go together?You know,as friends?"I smiled at him."Sure!"I said,thrilled that I wouldn't go alone.But then my smile dropped."Don't you want to go with Sonya or something,though?"I asked."Nah,I'd rather go with you"I blushed at his comment.He's so sweet! *Riiiiiinnnggggggg!!!* "Aw,Aris.You're so sweet.Anyways,I gotta go!See you at lunch!" I said.As Teresa walked off,Aris asked,"Want me to walk with you?" "Uh,okay"I said.Why was he so sweet?Well whatever.I didn't think much of it though.Maybe he was just extra happy today.
"Thanks,Aris" "It's fine.See you!" And with that,I walked into my class.I took my usual seat at the back."Okay,class..." ~TimeSkip~ It was finally Lunchtime.I got my food and went to Teresa and Aris.We weren't popular,but I guess that was okay."Hey,guys!"I said as I sat beside Aris.He wrapped his arm around me and I smiled."Guys,don't look,but Newt is looking this way!"Teresa quietly said.Of course,being Aris,he looked anyway."Oh my gosh,Aris.I said don't look!"He turned around and I stifled a laugh."He looked kind of mad"Aris said."What's that supposed to mean?"I asked as I drank my water."He might be jealous"I nearly spit my water."What?You've got to be kidding"I retorted after gulping down the water. ~TimeSkip~ It's been 5 days.And Aris had been acting more and more unusual,telling me I'm pretty and walking me to class.To be honest,I think I've started to take a liking to him.I've forgotten about Newt.But whatever,it isn't like he would've noticed me.Prom is tonight but right now we're at lunch."Y/N?Could I talk to you,like,alone?"Teresa asked."Sure,but can it wait until later?I'm starving"I said as I took a bite from my sandwich.Aris chuckled."You look cute when you eat"I blushed.There it was again.The compliments."Thanks,Aris"I smiled.
After we ate,I asked Aris to leave and Teresa and I went to a more secluded place."So,what is it that you wanted to ask?"I questioned curiously."Are you and Aris a thing?"I almost choked on my saliva."W-what?Why would you think that?" "Well,you guys have been acting like one for the past week" "Oh...Well,to be honest,I don't really know"I said."Well,I ship it"Teresa said smiling.I rolled my eyes and walked away.The bell was about to ring,might as well just go to class now.As I walked to class,I couldnmt help but think of Aris and Newt.Speaking of which,my next class was with the both of them.I was excited.Not to see Newt though,but Aris.Wait,what?I shook my head as I entered the class just as the bell rang."Y/N!There you are!I've been looking for you everywhere!"Aris said.I smiled at him."Oh,uh...I was just talking to Teresa.She just asked me a question"I said."What was it?"I gulped.Should I tell him?"Uhh..Nothing that you should know of.It's a girls thing"I said.Luckily,he believed it and went to his seat.I sat next to him.Throughout the lesson,I couldn't help but feel someone staring at me.I ignored it,though. •Newt's P.O.V• I glared at Y/N and Aris,who were in front of me.Y/N should be mine!Not Aris'.Well,you have been ignoring her and Aris is her friend.Ugh!Everyone had a date to prom,and I had yet to find one.It was tonight,so I'd probably not have one.Eh,I'll just hang with Minho and Thomas,I guess.But I really wamted to ask Y/N,but I knew she was going with Aris.I sighed.Oh well... ~TimeSkip~ •Y/N's P.O.V• I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror.I waswearing a dark blue dress that wasn't too long,but wasn't too short either.

I didn't put too much makeup,just eyeliner,eyebrows,mascara and a little bit of eyeshadow.(sorry but idk much abt makeup bc i dont like it ^.^)My hair was curled.I was really proud of my work."Y/N!Aris is here!"I heard my mom yell."Coming,mom!"I yelled back as I took one last lok at myself and walked down the stairs.I saw Aris standing there,looking as handsome as ever with his jaw dropped.I blushed."Close your mouth before a fly flies in"I joked.He seemed to snap out of his trance. •Aris' P.O.V• Wow.Y/N looked so beautiful.Like,think of someone or something beautiful.Now multiply that by a million.That's how beautiful she was.For the past few days,I've been falling for her harder and harder.But there was something I wasn't telling her and I don't intend on her knowing.I shook my head and blushed,embarrassed that she caught me staring.I have been doing that for a while now.I cleared my throat."So...Shall we?"I asked awkwardly.She smiled and said,"We shall"She went to get her heels and we were off.As we were walking to the school,I asked."Why didn't your mom take pictures?"She shrugged and replied,"She doesn't really care"Oh...
As we arrived the location,we spotted Teresa with her date so we decided to go to them.(idrk what prom looks like so this'll just be from my imagination :3) •Y/N's P.O.V• "Teresa!!"I exclaimed as I saw her with Ben.Aris and I walked towards her."Hi,you must be Ben"I smiled as I shook his hand."Take care of her,alright?Don't want my best friend to be heartbroken.Break her heart,I'll break your face"I warned,my protective side coming out.He seemed a little taken aback and I realised what I said may have been a bit too threatening.I cleared my throat."Uh,sorry.I'll just go.Come on Aris"I said quickly and went to dance with him.It was a slow song.Of course.He wrapped his arms around my waist and I rested my hands on his shoulders.It was perfect.
The song was over,and we were sitting on one of the tables that were provided."Hey,Y/N?Do you want some punch?I'm a little thirsty"Aris said.I nodded at him and he left to go get us a drink. •Newt's P.O.V• I watched as Aris walked away from Y/N.Great,now's my chance.I walked over to her,trying to clear my mind before I spoke."Uh,h-hi,Y/N"She turned to me and smiled."Hey,Newt" "I,uh,just wanted to tell you that you look really pretty tonight"I stuttered.Wow,Newt.Great job!"Oh,uhm.Thank you.You don't look too bad yourself"She giggled.Man,was she cute.It was starting to get awkward so I said goodbye and left to go to Minho and Thomas."Hey,man!How'd it go?"Minho asked as soon as he saw me."Horrible"I sighed."Don't worry,man.It could be worse!"He exclaimed.Yeah,I could've not talked to her at all.I just smiled weakly at him and returned my gaze to the floor.This was going to be a long night. ~TimeSkip~ As I walked past Y/N's locker,I heard her and Teresa talking.I know it's wrong to eavesdrop,but what they're talking about right now sounds sort of interesting.So,I slowed my pace."So,Y/N.What happened last night?" "It was great,actually.Aris asked me to be his girlfriend!"Y/N squealed.That's when I heart my heart breaking.
