**| Sean's POV|**
I was currently staring at the ceiling as the room filled up with my precious little brothers, and one stone-faced older one. I spun the desk chair around a couple more times until even looking at the ceiling made me dizzy. I stopped and straightened up.
Owen sat in one of the chairs, legs crossed as his watchful eyes missed nothing. Most of the action was currently with North, who paced back and forth.
North wasn't usually a pacer but something had him worked up. I would ask him but before we could get into any details, we needed to wait for Kota and Victor to get back from visiting her old school. Hopefully they found more on Sang than I did.
The front door opened and Victor stormed in, his face twisted with anger and frustration. Kota looked at him with concern as he rubbed at his nose, closing the door softly behind him
Looks like they came back with nothing too.
"That was a joke," Victor said, grabbing his laptop from off the table and going over to the couch, settling in next to Luke. He opened the laptop and went on to ignore us as his fingers flew across the keyboard.
"Since everyone is here, Victor, why don't you explain?" Owen said.
Victor's eyes narrowed at his laptop screen, before digging out his glasses and putting them on. He sent a look to Kota, who just sighed.
"Nothing we didn't already find. No pictures, no files," he began but then Victor interrupted him.
"All they have is the reference in their system of Sang Sorenson attending school and having very good grades, that's it. She graduated early at sixteen."
"Someone's fucking irritated," Gabe grumbled.
"Irritated is not what I'm feeling right now," Victor snapped.
"Okay, calm down," I interjected. The last thing we needed right now was a fight. And from the looks of things, one was sure to break out, especially with more bad news to be given. "So nothing came up from the school," I said.
Kota shook his head.
"Well, at least we know one thing," I said.
"What's that?" Nathan asked.
"She continued school even after running away from home," I explained. "That fills in a little more about her past. And she's a smart cookie, finishing school early."
North's lip twitched upwards briefly before disappearing.
"How was the hospital?" Owen asked.
I sighed and rubbed at my face, hating that I had to give North more bad news. "Nothing about Sang from the hospital her stepmother goes to," I said and felt Owen's questioning gaze on me.
I grabbed my messenger bag and dug through it until I pulled out a thick file and two smaller ones. I dropped the thick one on the wooden table.
"This copies belong to Mrs. Alisa Sorenson. She's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a little over ten years ago and has been battling with it since. She's been through various treatments and takes a whole slew of drugs she probably doesn't need. There are comments about possible depression and emotional instability. Next is Mr. Emory Sorenson. Fit. Never had surgery, no cases of diabetes or other diseases in the family. Doesn't smoke, drinks often but not daily or heavily. Last is Marie Sorenson. Nineteen years old but will be turning twenty in about a month, healthy, had all her shots, only went to the hospital once because she broke her wrist when she was nine. Fell out of a tree."
