Chapter 22 - What's wrong Jimin?

IU's POV

"Who's calling?" Hana asked me. 

"It's Jimin..." 

She covers her mouth with her hands, expressing her surprise feeling. 

"What are you waiting for?! Hurry up and answer!" she giggled. 

"Hello?" I answered nervously. Aish, Ji-eun ah keep yourself together! 

I pout, I didn't heard any response. Hana is looking at me excitedly. 

"H-hello? Jimin are you there?" I asked again, I heard a loud sigh and I got excited. 

[Noona...] 

My heart is beating fast, I'm so nervous. 

"Why?" I bit my lip, come one Jimin-ah just get to the point! 

[M-mianhe...] I heard a sob, is he crying? Why?

"Omo, Jimin-ah are you crying?" I asked nervously. 

[N-no noona...]  I rolled my eyes, liar! 

"Where are you? Let's talk please..." I badly need to talk to him. I heard a deep sigh on the other line. 

[Okay...] 

I smiled, I hung up and explain everything to Hana, I feel bad for leaving her so early but she said she is fine as long as I get to solve my problem. What a great friend. 

I took a taxi and told the driver where I am going. Jimin texted me where to meet. I stopped at a fancy restaurant. It was already getting dark so I think I'm going to have early supper today.

I entered the restaurant and I quickly roam my eyes and saw Jimin at the back patiently waiting for me. He looks so tired though, I shouldn't push this talk. We can talk on some other day but we're here. 

"Did you wait long?" I asked him, he look at me and he stand up. He guided my to sit. I thanked him and the waiter come with menus on his hand. 

Jimin picked a food for us. After that the waiter left. He sip his water before looking at me. 

"Are you okay?" I asked him. He nods his head and tried to smile. 

"I'm really sorry noona. I know it surprised you." I bit my lip.

"Why did you do that?" he look down. 

"I-I just think this is the best way to end it." I couldn't help it. I slam my hand lightly on the table, making him jump a little on his seat. Now he know I am mad. 

"The best way? You should've talk to me about this. If you want a break I would gladly accept it. Not this, you're ruining your career!" I raise my voice, but still making sure that people won't caught our attention.

I don't want another scandal. 

"I know, it's my fault. I'm really sorry noona." I closed my eyes, trying to control my anger. 

"It's fine, it's done. We just have to deal with it. By the way, is that really your cousin?" I asked him, he look at me and bit his lips, is there something funny? He looked like he's trying not to laugh.

"N-no... Hahahahah." there, he couldn't hide his laugh. I thought he was not okay? By what I'm seeing today he's definitely okay. 

"What? Then who's the girl?" he laugh even more. The people are now looking at us. He calmed down his self and the food arrived. 

"So?" I asked him when the waiter's done bringing our food. We're now eating. 

"Well... That wasn't a girl." he started. I knew it! Hana was right! If it wasn't a girl?...

"Then who is it?" he's going to laugh again, I can sense it, I'm starting to find where his eyes again.

"Pft... J-jungkook-ah hahahaha" he laugh even more louder, now the people caught our attention again. I tried to stop him. Shoot, we didn't wear disguise! 

"S-sorry. I just couldn't get that out of my head. He really looked like a girl that time." I shake my head in disappointment. Aish, this guys will they grow up? 

"Why did you do it huh?" there, he was quite again. Did I asked the wrong question? 

"I can't tell you the whole truth. But one thing is for sure. It's for the best." he said and starts to eat again. 

"Why are you crying back then?" I asked he stop eating. He look away but I snap my hands in front of me. Don't he dare to lie at me again. 

"I was scared that you would rant me after hearing the news." he told me in a low tone. This time, I was the one who was laughing. Now the people looked at us again. Seriously, I don't even know how many times these people looked at us.

The dinner went well, it was fun. We've decided to sing at the karaoke to relax. We had fun, I really miss hanging out with him. By 10 pm we've decided to go home.

Jimin's POV

I texted IU noona after I get home. It's a relief she's not that mad at me. I was so scared that she will get mad and not talk to me anymore. I don't want that, it's because of Suga hyung's stupid idea. Well not that stupid really, we're just getting started. 

Actually, before we went for our concert tour we had a game. The loser was me and Jungkook, it was obviously part of Suga hyung's plan. He didn't like to participate whenever we try and ask them to play with us but this time he's the one who initiate the game. By that time, I already knew why. 

So it's been settled that whoever the loser must go at the market to buy some snacks but the other one must disguise as a lady, and that's why the reporters thought I was cheating. They caught me with Jungkook wearing feminine clothes! 

I didn't have the chance to explain it to noona before the tour starts. I've been thinking a lot about the rumors and now our manager talked to me regarding this matter. I explained everything to him and Suga hyung defended me. 

Then we came up to a plan to just end it. I'll just explain everything to noona when we get back from the tour. Suga hyung told me to just tell the reporters that the girl which was actually Jungkook to be introduce as my cousin. Luckily IU noona didn't interfere. Guess she was told by her manager to keep quite or else our plan will fail.

Suga hyung said that this was for the best. Especially to Jungkook who's in denial of what's happening around him. You can clearly see that he likes IU noona, he's just too afraid to confess. 

Also, Suga hyung told me that he caught Jungkook and IU noona at the rooftop kissed! So that explained why she's been so awkward to Jungkook that morning. I didn't know that Suga hyung can play cupid, he's good. Too good to be true.

"How's the closure?"  Suga hyung entered our room. Well, he decided to switch with Jin hyung temporarily, since me and him have some things to do. 

"Smooth." he smirk and give me a high five. 

"Now, what's next?" I ask, he's searching through his phone and click his tounge. 

"May 16, IU's birthday."  he grins and told me everything that needed to be done for noona's birthday. 

We still got 2 weeks to go, I hope Jungkook will confess now.
