Chapter 25 - Friends

IU's POV

"Congratulations IU-sshi!" 

"IU daebak!" 

"IU unnie jjang!"

"Ji-eun-ahhhh!!" I smiled and look over my shoulder and saw In-Na unnie running towards me.

"Unnie!" I hug her tightly. 

I was about to leave since the broadcast has ended, and guess what? I got number 1 on charts! That's why the staff has been bowing and congratulating me. 

"Why did you came unnie?" I ask while walking to the parking where my manager is already waiting for me .

"You need to tell me everything! What happened after your birthday!" she said while wiggling her eyebrows. 

"Ah, okay okay! I'll tell you in the car." I said while scratching my head. How can I tell her those without getting excited? I'm still overwhelmed even though it's been weeks since we became official. 

Well, it's my decision to hide it to the public. For sure a lot of people will criticize me, since they knew that my ex was Jimin right? And now Jungkook is my boyfriend who's a close friend of Jimin. Isn't that betrayal to their point of view? I just don't want another scandal, that's all. 

Our manager approved it also our company. But I think I need time to officially tell the public about my status.

My relationship with Jungkook is fine, it's smooth. You can clearly see the love, just like what Namjoon said. We've been texting nonstop. We agreed to a policy that there must be at least a communication once in a day. No communication in a day means there's a problem between us. No excuses! Just spare a minute texting or calling me is fine as long as we have communication.

It's hard if you have a partner in life but you barely see and talk to them right? If you can bare a day without talking to him then you don't love that person.

Explanation is fine, as long as it is valid. Now, I sounded like possessive girlfriend right? But he's more possessive to me. It's because last night, the main cast of Scarlet Heart held a reunion, of course I wouldn't want to miss that. Joon-Gi oppa posted a picture of us, Jungkook got jealous because he saw that Joon-Gi oppa's arm was wrap around my shoulder! 

I spent hours on the phone explaining that it was really nothing. I couldn't get mad, I was about to laugh at him but of course I need to calm myself. It's really cute when he's jealous, although I can't see his face I knew that time that his face were already red.

My manager started driving while In-Na unnie keep on bugging me to tell the whole story. I check my phone and saw two texts from Jungkook. 

Kookie Oppa♥: Yah! Did you know that I can't sleep all night? The picture keep on bothering me! 

Kookie Oppa♥: How are you love? I watched Inkigayo today, I love your performance, I hope I was there to cheer you up and shout your fanchants. I love you noona. Let's see each other some other time please? I miss you already.... 

I laugh at his texts. Yah, don't think of anything! I'm not the one who named his contact like that. He snatch my phone from my hands and rename his name like that. I couldn't protest, I like it though. 

Me: 'Yah'? What yah is that Jungkook-ah! 

I laugh then send my text. I really like teasing him. It's okay to me if he didn't call me noona anymore. He also suggested to call him Oppa. That kid aish. 

"Yah what are you laughing at?! Come one tell me now!" 

Oh I almost forgot about her, bad Ji-Eun.
