Chapter 24 - Confession 2.0

IU POV

"Ji-eun-ah, I envy you! You're so lucky to have a friend like BTS. The surprise is really beautiful." Luna came to me while sobbing. Ugh, she's being a drama queen again. 

"Yah, you have a lot of friends compared to me!" I beamed and laugh at her, she quickly wipe away her tears and giggle. 

"Is that so? Well then I need them to convince to throw me a birthday party too! But I doubt it." I pinch her cheeks. 

"You have f(x)! Don't forget that!" I remind her and messed her hair, why is she so being childish today? 

"Hmp!- Oh, I gotta go, I think someone wants to talk to you." Luna said and she hit my arm slightly and left. 

I turn around and saw Jungkook standing behind me. The party is actually over, I'm at a rooftop to refresh, I've been thanking the BTS for the best surprise. I never thought that they will plan such things. 

"Why?" I ask, I frown at him. He still haven't give me any gifts. I'm starting to think that he didn't prepare anything but then I remembered that he danced to my song and sing a song for me while wearing the bunny custome. Is that it? Is that his gift for me? But why do I feel disappointed? I appreciate it but I think I expect too much from him. 

It's probably because too much expectations leads to disappointments.

"E-eyy..." he started while rubbing his nape. I look at him confused. 

"Come with me, noona." he grab my hand and drag me inside. I was shock when the venue change it's design quickly! 

"Heol, I thought the theme color was aqua blue? How come it change its color so fast?" I ask myself in amusement. I saw Jungkook smirk and let me sit on the chair that is on the center. 

"Why why why why?" I ask repeatedly at his sudden actions towards mine. 

"Sit noona. Just wait." he whispers and that made me nervous. I look around, there's no one here. I look in front which is the stage and saw him holding a mic. 

Wait-- the party isn't over yet?! But there's no guest now how---

"Ji-eun noona, I dedicate this song to you for it tells everything of who you are in my life..." 

I smile at him, is this part of his gift? I tilt my head and wait for him, he still hasn't starting yet my tears are now ready to fall. Then there's a video on the side playing when the song starts playing.

He's now singing, I can't help but to smile. His voice is everything to me. 

Look at all of these tears I've wept

He then looked at me and give me his most genuine smile, the smile that I never seen before. The smile that he never shows to anyone. His smile today, is something that one must remember.

I look at the projector, did he made those? It's a compilation video of me and him. I bit my lip as I feel the tingling effect on my stomach. Is this the feeling that everyone say? The butterflies?
