Chapter 17 - Truce

IU'S POV

While we're busy watching a good film I saw Jimin came out from the rooftop while frowning. What happened again? 

I was about to stand up and ask him what happened but then Jungkook came out too while frowning. Did this two fight again?

"Noona, where are you going?" Taehyung asked me when he caught me standing up from my seat. 

"Kitchen." I said and he nod his head and give me the bowl. 

"Please get some popcorn too. Keke." he said and flash me his wide smile. I just smiled back and headed to the kitchen where Jimin is. 

"Yah, what happened? Why you two are being like this again?" I asked him and place the bowl to the counter and face Jimin. 

"It's nothing. You don't need to worry about it." he assured me with his smile. But no, that won't work for me now. He may made me believe to those smiles back then but I just realize that those were all fake. 

"Jimin-ah, please don't be like this. It felt like I'm troubling you or something. Just tell me, if you want to stop ---" 

"Guys they're here!" 

We were interrupted by Taehyung's yell telling us that they're here. Who are they? I looked at Jimin confused.

"Who's here?" I asked, he smiled at me and put his arm around my shoulder. 

"Didn't I tell you that we're filming a reality show? It's entitled, Bangtan's Reality." he explained as we go and went to the living room. There are people filming the Bangtan. 

"Oh they're here." Jin Oppa said while smiling and pointing at us. That made the camera turned to us. 

"The lovely couple." the producer said as the camera focus on us. We both smiled and greet them. 

"To be honest, I really didn't expect this." I said while laughing awkwardly. 

"Jin, it's already 3 pm. We need to prepare now." Namjoon said while looking at the refrigerator. 

"Oh really? Okay. Yah Yoongi and Hoseok you need to prepare outside for our barbecue. Taehyung and Namjoon please clean the house and you..." Jin pointed at Jimin.

"You will help me cook." He said and went to the kitchen, the camera was just following us around. 

"Shoot, there's no enough food." Jin said as he looked at the refrigerator checking every ingredients. 

"Where's Jungkook?" he said and looked at Jimin. 

"I'm here!" Jungkook said at the living room. Jin nod his head. 

"You're going to the market to buy some food. Please make it quick." Jungkook went here in the kitchen and ask for money. 

Jin gladly give him the money and looked at me. 

"Ji-eun-ah, is it okay for you to accompany Jungkook? Don't worry it won't take long." I just stared at him, I don't know what to do. I haven't talked to Jungkook for a long time. But I kept on thinking that this is the best opportunity to talk to him. 

I sigh and smiled. "Sure." 

It's really awkward outside, since the market was just a walking distance and the camera kept on following us. 

"Hey guys, is there something wrong with you two? It's been a minute since I started to film you guys you haven't talk either!" I bit my lip and smiled at the cameraman. 

"Ah, ha-ha. Don't worry we're okay. We're just thinking on what to buy." the cameraman nod his head and put down his camera. 

"I'll just film you two at the market." I fake a smile and started to walk faster. 

When we arrived at the market, I told Jungkook to get a cart and he gladly follows it. I kept on looking at the food on the store while busy searching for a food to buy. 

"Here's the cart." I nod my head without looking at him. 

"What do you think's the best food to eat?" He scratch his head.

"I don't know anything except for this food." he said and give his phone, at first I wasn't really prepared that he's going to do that but he kept on insisting me to take it. 

I shyly took it and looked at his phone. 

"Do you think Jin can cook this?" he came closer to me and nod his head. 

"There's no food that Jin hyung can't cook." he said and we suddenly looked at each other. 

I was really taken aback on how close he was but I can't seem to move because his eye were just like magnet that keeps me from keeping still.

"I-ah... O-okay let's go." I said as I get the cart quickly and walk fast. I heard him chuckle and follows me. 

I'm busy looking for the ingredients, still holding his phone because he has the ingredients. Since Jin didn't gave us too much money we're debating whether to buy some cheap one rather than tasty. 

"But noona, It didn't taste good. It's kinda sour and very different from this one." he protest. I take back the expensive one and put on the cart the cheap one.

"But we don't have enough money. If you keep on insisting to buy that then we can't buy the whole ingredient." 

That's how our conversation went on. We spent half an hour debating on a single jar of sauce. 

"Uh excuse me. I know a cheap but tasty one." the cameraman said and presented us another jar. 

"My wife always used this. And it really taste good." I take it and looked at the price. 

"Do you know this?" I asked Jungkook but he shake his head.

"Then it settled, we're going to try this." I said and put the jar on the cart and went to snacks. 

Jungkook took in charge of pushing the cart. We put every snacks that we like of course still monitoring the money. 

"Ji-eun noona, I really wanted this." he said as he presented me a big pack of Lays. Omo I wanted that too. 

"We can buy both of this for us." he said while smiling I nod my head and calculate the money. 

"Aigoo, we already reached the limit." I said looking sad. 

"Only one?" he added showing his aegyo, I suddenly blush but I didn't let him see that. 

"Fine." I said and he happily put the Lays on the cart and hold my hand. 

"Let's go, I'm hungry. They're probably waiting for us." he said and drag me to the cashier. 

"You're really that close to each other?" the cameraman asked us as we leave the market. I looked at the camera. 

"Of course, we're friends right?" I said and looked at Jungkook. He looked at me for a couple of seconds and smile. 

Those smile is what I missed about him. I thought I would never going to see that again. 

"No, we're best than best friends." he said as he wrap his arms around my shoulder and we happily walk down the streets.
