Chris stared over PJ's shoulder. "What should I do so I don't end up breaking the friendship that we all have? I still want to be friends with them." PJ mumbled into Chris' shoulder.
"The best thing you can do is apologize. Let him kjowbthay it doesn't matter to you that Dan said no. He would really appreciate knowing that you're not going to make it awkward between you three." Chris rubbed his back slightly calming him down.
"Do I have to do it now? I'm not ready" PJ looked at Chris.
"Whenever you're ready. It doesn't have time be now." Chris gave his friend a reassuring smile causing him to smile back. For the rest of the day the two sat close together in the couch watching movies. At some point during the day Chris wrapped an arm around PJ's waist causing him to jump slightly but quickly settle his head onto his shoulder. Chris twisted his body so that PJ was laying in his lap with his head on his chest and he had both arms warped around his waist. The whole time Chris actually felt generally happy for once. He had always known that ph had a thing for Dan just by the way he would blush every time the two would make even the quickest eye contact.
Dan and Phil had just landed in Florida when Phil got a text from his mother telling them the address for the rental house. Phil took a quick glance at Dan before getting up and grabbing his carry on from the over head compartment. The text he got from PJ still burned into his mind. He had a feeling PJ was planning something to try and steal Dan away from him and that's what he feared the most.
Dan looked at Phil who had a very fearful look on his face and poked his cheek hoping to make him forget whatever is on his mind. Dan was very awkward and cautious in their relationship. He was like that ever since he got the text from PJ. He was afraid that he would say something wrong or act the wrong way towards Phil and make him not love him anymore and leaving him heartbroken. That's what he feared the most.
