Dan looked to Phil who had a very fearful look on his face and poked his cheek hoping to make him forget whatever was on his mind. Dan was very awkward and cautious in their relationship and couldn't figure out why. He was like that ever since he got the text from PJ. He was afraid that he would say the wrong thing or act the wrong way towards Phil and make him not love him anymore leaving him heartbroken (go read Heartbreak Syndrome out now in a wattpad library near you).
They were both afraid to loose each other. The two knew that they had a strong bond that wasn't just friends. They always knew that something was going to happen between them and now that it happened they were waiting for the whole thing to blow up in their faces. Even though they just got together they knew that something was going to try and tear them apart but they also knew they could fix it since their bond was so strong.
The whole cab ride was quiet. Dan sat on the left side and Phil on the right with their hands placed in the middle between them with their pinkies touching giving them some comfort during the long car ride. At some point during the ride Phil leaned over and gave Dan a kiss on the cheek. Phil loved seeing how Dan blushed every time he kissed him. He found it cute. It was one of his favorite things about him. He loved the way his mouth was slightly open with soft snores coming out as he slept. Phil's absolutely favorite thing about Dan was how his hair curled up after a shower or whenever it was wet. Be knew that Dan hated it but it made him love it even more.
