Dans POV:
I have been making videos for about 6 years now. I've been to all sorts of events like vidcon and playlist live. It's truly amazing. Also I moved in with my now best friend Phil. And yet all these years, I've still never met my idol. Y/n L/n. The most beautiful creature I've ever laid eyes on. Every time there's an event she can't go because something always pops up. I remember the first time she dm'd me. I cried that night, I just can't imagine why she would ever want to talk to some like...me. I'm nothing special. Just a person who has an obsession with another person. This years vidcon is here in London and I'm gonna message y/n before hand to see if she's coming.

Hey y/n it's dan and I was just wondering if you would be attending the vidcon event this year in London. If having a ride is a problem or something just let me know cause I'd really enjoy meeting you.

Hey dan I will be going this year and I do have a ride, I'm going with Zoe since we both live in Brighton. I'm really excited to meet you too. See you soon xx

No way. She's gonna be there. I'm gonna meet her. ALSO SHE SENT THE KISSY SYMBOL. HOLY CRAP. I need to film about this.

"Hello internet. So as you all know, vidcon is in London this year. And so many youtubers are going including me, Phil, Zoe, Alfie and wait for it....Y/N! I'm sure so many of you know who she is cause she's kind of a big thing. But ever since I was eighteen I've wanted to meet her and this is my one chance to. So I'm really gonna try not to make a fool out of myself cause that would be embarrassing and I'd probably cry. But anyways I hope you guys can come see me and Phil and y/n and so many other people. It's gonna be really fun and I'm extremely excited. So once again I really hope you guys can come so I can meet all you beautiful people and that's about it. Thank you for watching I'll see you next time I upload" I said turning off the camera.

*time skip to vidcon*
Me and Phil were hanging out in our apartment waiting for Zoe and Alfie to come over with y/n. I was beyond nervous and was a shaking mess. Phil was really comforting though and he made me feel a lot better. They were gonna be here in around 20 minutes. My palms were sweaty. I was biting my lip. I was a mess.

Your POV:
To say I was nervous was an understatement, I was petrified. But the good kind. I had his feeling in my stomach that was like I was going up a roller coaster. I felt weightless. My head was spinning. My brain was racking the different ways I could make a fool of myself. I was scaring myself more than I needed to.

"Y/n we're here." Zoe said to me a few minutes later. They had drove me to Dan and Phil's flat so I could meet them before the event started. I walked behind them trying to gain confidence. When we reached their floor after an endless amount of stairs, Zoe knocked on the door lightly.

And then appeared the most beautiful human I had ever seen. Dan Howell.

Dans POV:
I heard soft knocks on the door which was probably Zoe cause she hates being loud. I creaked open the door and before me stood the most gorgeous girl in the whole universe. Y/n L/n.
