anxiety

you finally made it to the day you'd been waiting for. interactive introverts aka dan and phil show. you had been watching them for years and the day finally came. you were seeing and meeting them in merely 3 hours. 3 hours from now your idols would be standing in front of you. to say you were excited would be an understatement. you were over the moon, ecstatic, exhilarated. 

you decided to get ready by choosing an outfit. you had bought a tour shirt from their online store so you wore that and a pair of high wasited jeans and some black vans. you applied a small amount of makeup, adding on whiskers with eyeliner. you threw your hair into a messy ponytail and made sure you had everything with you.

since you were all ready you just had to wait for your taxi to arrive to take you to the venue. it showed up about two hours before doors opened which was good because you lived about 30 minutes away from the venue and you wanted to be closer to the front of the line. 

when you got there, the lineup was pretty long but not too bad. so you patiently waited for the doors to open and when they did, you immediately went to find your seat. it was a pretty good view. not too close but not too far. it was just right. 

when they came on stage, you started to breathe funny. it was all uneven and heavy. you felt really lightheaded. your whole body started to shake as tears started clouding your vision. all of a sudden, your vision went all splotchy and you felt nothing. 

eventually, you woke up in a hospital bed with dan and phil sitting beside you. when they saw you were awake, they carefully made their way over to you and explained what had happened. you had fainted from an intense anxiety attack and when you fell, you smacked your head on the ground and it knocked you out. you had been out for about an hour. 

"thank you guys for staying. but i'm okay now you can go back to the meet and greet" i told them weakly. 

"we canceled the rest of the show y/n, we do have to go soon though, we have to leave for the next city soon." phil said kindly. 

when they saw the smile on your face alter dan quickly said "but we're gonna stay here for a while longer and hang out with you and take pictures. we care about you too much to just leave you here by yourself" 

your smile returned and you thanked them once again.

this was the most memorable day of your life, even though bits of it were blurry.
