Your POV:
"Sweetheart come here. Come to daddy." Dan said to your 5 year old daughter. "Daddyyyyy." She sang while running into his arms. "Hi darling. How was your day?" Dan asked her. He had just gotten back from BBC Radio 1. "It was good. Me and mommy pained a picture!" She yelled excitedly. "Oh honey can I see it?" He asked her. He was great with kids and always made sure she was happy. "Here come on daddy I'll show you." She said grabbing his hand and dragging him along.

You and her had painted a picture of your family. She painted the people and you painted the background.

"Oh baby it's wonderful. I'm gonna hang this overtop of me and mommy's bed." Dan said smiling down at the picture. "It's perfect." He added. He hugged his little girl and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

*later at dinner*
"Y/n this pasta is amazing." Dan gushed smiling at you. "Thank you Dan." You said returning the smile. "You're beautiful y/n." Dan said out of the blue. "Dan... thank you. You're the most handsome man I've ever met. I love you so so much." You told him.

He held your hand from across the table and kissed it. "Ew! Daddy kissed mommy's hand!" Your daughter yelled. "Awe honey. That's how we show we love each other. By kissing and hugging and holding hands. And telling each other that their beautiful. It's like what we do with you. We kiss you and hug you and hold you hand. And we never want you to think you aren't beautiful. Because you're the most beautiful little girl ever." Dan explained to her placing a hand on her back.

"How do you know you love someone?" She asked. You and Dan shared a look and smiled at each other. "Well sweetie, you know you love someone when you'd do anything for them. You would die for them. It's when your biggest fear is hurting them because you can't stand to be without them. You'll know when you're older. And one day you'll find someone to love just like me and your daddy love each other and one day you'll have a little girl or boy to love just like we love you." You told her fighting back tears. "I want to be as happy as you and daddy mommy." She said. "You will be darling"
