I Promise

Your POV:
You and Dan were eating dinner and cracking jokes with each other like always. He had made stir fry for dinner and you made pie for dessert. "You know what y/n you're cute." Dan said randomly. You two had been friends since birth so this was weird for you. "Dan no I'm not." You argued stating down at your plate. "Yes you are. You really are." He said continuing eating.

Later that night you and Dan were watching tv in your room.

"Y/n can we make a promise?" Dan asked you turning to look at your face. "Yeah of course Dan." You said smiling warmly at him.

"I want you to promise me that we'll always be there for each other. No matter what. No matter how many fights we have or how many times we storm out on each other. We'll always come back to one another." Dan said holding your hands.

"Daniel James Howell I promise you and God himself that you'll always be my best friend. I'll love you forever and ever. All of your flaws and quirks. I love you for you. Not for someone you aren't. I know we fight a lot but I'll always come back to you in the end. I'll always be here for you and I know you'll be there for me. I would die for you and I know you'd do the same for me. I couldn't imagine a world without you. You're my everything. The only thing I'm living for. You're my whole damn world." You promised him while fighting back tears.

"Y/n L/n I promise to never judge your choices. You can date and like whoever you want. I may not like him but I won't put you down for it. You're like a sister to me and I wouldn't have it any other way. A world without you is like a world without air. Meaningless really. I literally couldn't live without you and you're the reason I've come this far. I've never met someone as kind hearted and badass as you and I don't think i ever will. You're one of a kind, no one can replace you and no one will. I'll protect you forever. I'll never let anyone hurt you." Dan promised kissing your forehead.

You held up your small pinky and he hooked his larger one around it. "I promise." You both said in unison.

I promise.
