You are my only love

My heart soars 

When you walk through the door

I want to be yours

You are worth the wait

My one true "mate"

What is starting as a small crush 

Could be one epic love 

I'm not gonna give up

I've walked away before 

But with you I want more 

I hope I stand a chance 

I might ask you to dance

I've never like somebody so much before

There have been other guys

Multiple tries 

But I've always cried 

With you

It feels right this time 

I know I've said that before 

But I'm trusting my instinct 

My instinct is telling me to love 

So I love you

I always will

I'll wait for you

Until we get to be more

Hey guys!!!

So this poem was really hard for me to write actually. I mean like, emotionally. It was for a guy (Matthew). I made it because after we had a fight ahem.. (I Don't Want To Lose You Too) we came back and admitted that we had feelings for each other. And my feelings were pretty strong. So strong that when he said he doesn't and never did feel the same way I cried and still am crying. He was one of my best friends and still sorta is. He just wasn't ready for a girlfriend I guess. But anyway judging by the poem you can see how strong my feelings truly were. He saw this poem that I made for him. But since he doesn't feel the same way I told him to forget he ever saw it. Honestly, I kind of hope he doesn't.
