I've liked you for so long

But me

I can't write love songs

I can however write poems

So this, is your poem

First of all happy birthday ma amore

Every time I talk to you

My eyes sparkle

My world is less darker

And that same

old smile comes to my face

You understand me

Despite the age

You learned to love me

And somewhere

Along the way

I fell for you

Hard

And because of that here we are now

Eleven months later

Can you believe how far we've come?

You are my moon

I am your sun

Now maybe this is cheesy

But hey, the little things
