Sunday noon
Will's POV
I gazed at the clock in the room impatiently. It was 12:17, and the nurse had said they could visit at noon. Were they not coming?
A few minutes later, the big hand hit the 4 on the clock, and they came in almost immediately. First Mom and Jonathan, with Mom crying and Jonathan almost to that point. "Oh, baby, you're okay!" Mom sobbed, hugging me tightly. Jonathan joined the hug, wrapping his arms around us both.
Then came Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Max, and El. There was some debate if five people could visit at once, but Mom convinced the nurse to let them. They all hugged me too, but had more questions.
"Do you remember what happened besides killing it?" Lucas asked me. Everyone suddenly made a strange face except El, who gave me a perplexed look.
I shook my head no. "My eyes were closed. And I only did it because El gave me some of her power or something." She smiled weakly at this and hugged me.
Max hung back from everyone slightly, looking at the ground. "Max," I said, and she looked up. Everyone quieted, and I could tell they knew about the kiss. "No hard feelings?" I said simply.
She smiled. "Yeah. And sorry about that... that thing. It was all I could think of to do that would shock it out of you."
I shrugged. "I don't care."
"Yeah, he's too busy being in love with Jennifer Hayes," Dustin teased.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Shut up."
