"So I press this button to start the transmission?"

"Yes. I have to first find the frequency for the Castle of Lions and then once I have done that, the transmission can begin. It would have been much more useful if you had the ship's coordinates, but of course I understand your reasons for not wanting to share that kind of information."

"Yeah, sorry about that. Safety precaution."

Thace tuned the transmitter, thankful when he found a signal.

"There we are, this should do the trick. Start the transmission when you're ready, I will be in the next room should you need anything."

"Thanks, Thace." Pidge nodded, taking a deep breath before pressing the button. All she could do was hope that no one would be mad at her.

"Princess! There's an incoming transmission from an unknown ship!" Coran alerted. "What should we do?"

"Is it a Galra ship?" Allura asked, watching as Coran shook his head.

"No, it's not. There could be someone in need of help, should I allow the transmission to come through?"

"Yes, please do. We must always help those in need."

Please let it be Pidge, let us know that she is safe. She is far too young to be out there all by herself, and I hope for her sake she has found shelter.

Coran did as he was asked, both shocked and relieved to see who was on the holographic screen.

"Hey Coran. Hi, Allura."

"Pidge!" Allura exclaimed in pleasant relief, thankful that her young friend was alright. "Thank goodness you're safe! You had us all so worried!"

"I know, and i'm sorry about that. I didn't want to worry any of you, but this was something I had to do. I had to know for myself if Shiro was alive or not...and I have good news. He's alive."

"Oh, that's wonderful!" Allura said, regretting her negative thoughts. She had given up hope, but knowing that he was alive brought her so much joy. "Where are you?"

"I'm not sure." Pidge answered, recalling that no one had told her the name of the planet they were on. "All I know is that this place belongs to Telenum. She's a princess just like you, Allura."

Allura halted at the mention of 'princess'. There was another princess? She couldn't quite believe it, she had to meet this Telenum girl and give her thanks for helping a Paladin of Voltron alongside whoever else was with her. It was simply the right thing to do.

Another princess? This could work within our favour, if we can form an alliance with another royal...

"I never thought about the possibility of their being royalty fighting against Zarkon. Can I ask which species she belongs to?"

"Her second in command told me that she's from a planet called Rhilem. I don't know if you've heard of it though. Apparently they're a sister species to Alteans."

"I've heard of them." Coran said, it had been many years but he strongly remembered there being a sister species to his planet. "Like the Galrans, Rhilemians were in alliance with Alteans as well, they were often hired as spies due to their advanced shape shifting abilities- abilities even stronger than those of Alteans. I didn't know the King and Queen had a daughter."

Pidge sighed, realising that Coran had no idea that the King and Queen he knew were most likely long gone. Whoever was ruling now, was surely doing a good job if they were against Zarkon and his evil antics.
