"You can't do this forever. Be an idol, a guitar player. It will come to an end at some point. So, my child. What are your future plans?"

Levy POV

"That's what she said?" Lucy questioned me.

"Yeah. What do you think I should do?"

"She's right. So, Levy? About that letter?"

Author POV

"Hey, shrimp!"

"My name isn't shrimp!"

"Yeah yeah, whatever."

"*sigh* What do you need?"

"That's a good girl. I need help studying for a maths exam."

"I hate maths."

"I know but you're great at it."

"It's too simple."

"Not to me."

"You're too simple."

"If I fail I get kicked out since I've been flaking on too many classes."

"You're own fault."

"Do you even like me?"

"I thought it was obvious."

He paused and stared at her. Did that mean she did or didn't like him. "What does that mean?"

"Nothing important. Are you going to pay me?"

"Pay?"

"Well, yeah. I'm not obliged to do this. It's my choice."

"How about a ticket to The nine maidens' next concert?"

"How did you get that?"

"The guys bought tickets for everyone but I don't want mine. The nine maidens are too fluffy for me."

"Fluffy?! The nine maidens are amazing! We-They work hard every day to make performances the best they can be!"

"Woah. No need to get so defensive. Do you want the ticket or no?"

"No. I'll also be studying for the maths exam. A group of us girls were planning to."

"Too bad. What can I get you then."

"...nothing...material."

"Just tell me."

"Can I use your home address to receive a very important letter. It's imperative no one finds out about it, at least not until I'm ready to tell them."

"All right then. Fair enough deal."

*Next day*

"What about this one?"

"Think of y and x as coordinates. So to find the gradient you'll have to use y1 - y2/x1 - x2 this time around."

"So. 16 - 8/12 × 2 equals 8/24."

"Simplify."

"...1/3."

"Correct. Let's try the next one."

*next day*

"Shrimp. You're early."

"Is that a problem?"

"No. Come on in." Levy stepped in to Gajeel's house which she'd already grown accustomed to thanks to how much time she spent there. Taking off her shoes and jacket, she handed both to Gajeel who took them with a grunt and shut the door.
