All three of us carried on walking but we weren't walking very fast because Harry and Simon were still in sight, I would catch Leah looking behind her shoulder every thirty seconds and she started to slow down until suddenly she just came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the pavement, Troye, Alex and I all looked around and was confused as to why she had stopped walking with us.
"what are you doing?" I asked her as we all walked up to her,
"n-nothing just looking." she replied to me
"well if you call looking at Simon every thirty seconds nothing then okay."
"he's just so cute!" she whined at me, she then looked behind her again and we all saw her bite her lip at the sight of him.
"just go and ask for his number Leah clearly you're itching to do it." I told her
"really! are you sure?" she asked me excitedly
"it's never stopped you before so why not(!?)" Alex made a sarcastic remark that only Troye and I heard and It made us both laugh a little,
"yeah just ask him out." I said to her, she then smiled at us all before she turned around and ran up to Simon and spoke to him for no more than two minutes.
She came rushing back over with a bright smile painted wide on her face, she was smiling from ear too ear, as we were about to walk away I caught Simon staring at me he was smirking and biting his lip I just rolled my eyes and ignored him as all four of us walked back to Leah's flat where we were going to hang out at for a bit.

"I can't believe I actually got his number!" She said excitedly
"Neither can I." I mumbled to myself
"What?" She asked, I looked up at her
"Oh um nothing don't worry about it."
"Do you think you'll actually go on a date with him?" Alex asked her, it was obvious that Alex fancied Leah well it was for us to see apart from her.
"Don't know? I'll just wait and see if he texts me." She answered happily to him
"You really like him don't you?" Troye asked with a slight smile
"Yeah I think I do." She smiled back, I couldn't take it any more so I stood up from the sofa and walked out of the back door to get some air just to clear my head. While I was sitting down on Leah's door step I heard the door open and I looked and saw Troye sitting down next me smiling sympathetically towards me,
"You like him don't you?"
"Yeah course I do, I just can't have a relationship at the moment all my attention has to focus on Jack." I said sadly

"You know Iris, you have the biggest the heart I know you never think of yourself you are always thinking of others and do what you think is right by them. But I think that you should start thinking of yourself and if you like Simon then you need to go back inside and tell Leah that she can't date him."
"But she's so happy and she deserves it I can't ruin that for her." I sighed heavily
"You deserve to be happy to." Troye said sweetly
"I'll tell her now." I said Troye and I then stood up and walked back into the house.
"Leah I need to tell you some-" I hesitated in the hallway because when I walked into the living room I saw her and Simon sitting on the sofa with his arm draped around her waist while she rested her hand on his thigh,
"What is it?" She asked with a smile
"I just came to say that I need to go, yeah that it um I have to talk to Jack but I'll see you soon." I lied, Troye hit my arm and I flinched Simon and I made eye contact and like he did before he smirked at me I just rolled my eyes and walked out of the house.

"Iris what the hell was that?!" Troye shouted
"Just leave it Troye." I said sadly
"I thought you were to tell her?"
"I can't do that, he was in there and you saw how happy she was I couldn't ruin that for her no matter how much I like Simon." I replied to him as I walked down the street to get back home. When I got home I kicked off my shoes and went straight up to my room and fell asleep straight away.
