A whole month had passed since Jack was admitted into to intensive care, he wasn't showing any sign of movement his hand had twitched and that gave us hope but the doctors said that it was only a trapped nerve so our hopes were knocked back down again. Leah and Simon had been dating for a whole month as well so that was something I guess although Simon tended to spend more time with me then he did with his actual girlfriend, I didn't tell him about Jack the only people who knew were Leah, Troye, Cal and Alex and they promised not to say anything to anyone out of respect for my mum because she didn't want anyone else knowing that her youngest and only son was going do die soon. I was sitting in the living with Troye when we heard a knock at the front door, I got up to answer it and I saw my dad standing on my door step. "Dad what are you doing here?" I asked "Is your mum in?" He asked me "No she's at work why are you here?" "She told me about Jack, I want to help." "There's nothing to help with Dad he's only got two months left to live there isn't anything we or the Doctors can do to help him, it's all down to Jack to wake up before it's too late." I explained to him.
"Well when your mum comes home can you tell her to call me please?" He asked "Yeah sure, bye Dad." He smiled and then I closed the front door and walked back into the living room. "Why was your dad at the door?" Troye asked me "I don't know, mum did tell him about Jack a few weeks ago so that might be why he's here." I said to Troye as I walked back over to sit down with him. Suddenly my phone started to ring and it was Cal so I answered it, "What's up Cal?" I asked him "Can you come over I want to talk to you." He sounded serious "I'm with Troye at the moment, can it wait till tomorrow when we go and see Jack?" I asked him "Oh sure okay I'll see you tomorrow then." "Bye Cal." I said he then hung up so I put my phone down and curled into Troye's chest as we watched films for the rest of the day.
Morning
I woke up quite late for me because Troye and I were watching films nearly all last night right up until one of us fell asleep, Troye left in the morning as I heard the door open and close because he had work so I didn't bother getting up. I looked at my phone and saw the time it was eleven thirty and I said that I would go and see Cal as he wanted to talk to me about something he didn't sound worried or anything on the phone he just wanted to talk so I agreed to go and see him, I got out of bed and walked over to my wardrobe to get changed into some clothes.

When I got changed I grabbed my car keys and left the house and drove to go and see Cal, when I got there Harry opened the door and let me inside he showed me to Cal's room so I went inside to see Cal on his laptop with his headphones on and facing away from the door so he didn't hear or see me come into his room, I placed my bag down carefully and took off my shoes I the tiptoed over to Cal and quickly put my hands over his eyes he then took off his headphones and I could feel his face creasing as he smiled. "Guess who." I said quickly, Cal laughed a little before he spun round on his chair and smiled brightly at me. "You okay?" He asked as he stood up and walked me over to his bed with him "Yeah I'm doing okay considering what's happening but I need to stay positive." I smiled at Cal "You are one of the most positive people that I know Iris." "Well I can't be miserable, not right now anyway." I said slowly "That's why I love you." He smiled "I love you too Cal." I Replied "No I mean I love you." He said quietly Yeah Sames." Was all I said which made Cal smile brightly which also then made me smile he then hugged me tightly and kissed my head softly.
We lied down together on his bed and just talked for a while "I thought you didn't want to have a relationship with anyone right now?" Cal asked me "Well I did think about it and of course I love Jack and I want to spend all of my remaining time with him but that doesn't mean that I can't have a live that doesn't consist of him, and I have actually liked you for a while and I I know it sounds bad but I was trying so hard to compress the feelings that I had for you." I admitted to him "Why?" He asked me "Because if I told you and you didn't feel the same I didn't want to ruin the friendship that we already had." "Yeah Sames." He copied me which made me giggle lightly and smile as I kissed Cal's cheek and cuddled into his chest.
