Chapter 3: Feeling Like No Other

Sub's POV

I was sitting at a lunch table with all of my friends staring at the new girl. She didn't notice but my friends did. "Ooh, someone likes someone!" Said Corl but I ignored him. I was lost in her beauty. She doesn't like me, she can't. It's nearly impossible to even notice me. She's beautiful, but she's sitting at a table by herself. She's generous, she doesn't take she just gives. What am I? Nobody. A big fat nobody. She is to good for me. She deserves better than me. I'm not good enough for her.

She was sitting at a table by herself. I wanted to get up and go talk to her but. Oh no, it's to late now, Bif walked over to her. "Hey, what's up chick?" She turned away. She glanced at me? She glanced at me. She glanced at me! Calm down, she probably just accidentally looked at you. Yes, accidentally.

Y/N (Your Name) POV

This school is very nice. I already almost made some friends. That sounds sad actually. It's lunch time so I start on my way to the cafeteria. When I get there, I decide to sit alone. It feels almost impossible to make friends, everybody already knows eachother, i'm the only new person besides that boy named Sub. He's kind of cute. What am I saying?! I'm the new girl, he probably already has a girlfriend. He never talks, he must be shy. Maybe he doesn't have a girlfriend! What am I saying, I need to stop thinking to myself.

I get my lunch and sit down at my table and start to eat. A big guy gets up and walks over to me. He sits net to me. "Hey, what's up chick?" Oh God what is his problem. I glance over to Sub to see if he notices me. He looked back at me! We were staring in eachothers' eyes for a few seconds and look away and blush. "Uh, nothing." I reply to the other guy, I think his name is Bif but I don't care. I get up and watch over my shoulder to see Bif frowning, I think he's mad. I want to talk to Sub, but i'm to shy.

It was after lunch and time for math class. I tried to sit as close to Sub as possible, but I end up sitting a chair away from him. I sit net to an awkward kid named Squid, he seems nice though so I don't mind, I just wanted to get closer to Sub.

Sub's POV

"Uh, nothing." She replied to Bif. She must feel uncomfortable, I wish she would come over here. She gets closer to our table but then turns and sits at another table by herself. So close. I wish she would notice me.

It's time for math class and as I sit down I see she is trying to find a seat close to me but ends up sitting next to Squid. Lucky Squid. She probably wasn't TRYING to sit next to me, there were just alot of empty seats around me. Another bad day.

It has been a few hours and it's time to go home.

Bif's POV

I saw that brat Sub looking at the new girl. Wrong girl Subby boy! I need to get him to lay off and I know just how! I'll give him his usual fight after school. He'll cry uncle this time, i'll make him. She won't even want to look at him after i'm done with him, she won't even be able to recognize him. This is worth getting suspended if I get caught.
