It was early in the morning two days after my visit to Sunagakure. I had just woke up and had poured myself a cup of black tea. I was sipping on it as I walked to my table to jot some notes down in my book when someone knocked on my door. I looked at the time to see who would be knocking on my door so early in the morning. I sighed and walked to the door with my tea and pen still in hand.

“Yes?” I asked opening my door. There standing on my doorstep was the guy I had helped in Sunagakure.
    “Are you Yumiko?” He asked.
“I am.” I told him and then sipped on my tea as I leaned against the door frame.
“Um, Thanks for healing me and all.” He said as he scratched the back of his head.
“Don’t worry about it…Ugh…” I just realized that I never asked for his name. All I knew was that he was the Kazekage’s brother.
    “Kankuro.” He told me.
“Right, Kankuro...Anyways, I’m here for people's use. So, what brings you to my door, or was that all?” I asked. It was hard to believe someone would come here just to say their thanks.
“Um, I realized that no one actually told you what was going on.” He said and I shook my head.
“Something about your brother, The Kazekage, being kidnapped.” I told him remembering what Lady Chiyo told me on the way to Suna.

“Well actually what happened is the Akatsuki took Gaara because they want his tailed beast. After you left everyone went to fight them to bring him back. Me and my sister are just about to leave but I wanted to stop by here first.” My mouth fell open.

“Lead the way.” I told him putting my cup down on a pile of books and stepping out of my house locking the door.

“Sorry?” He asked and I sighed.

“Taking a tailed beast out of a host’s body kills the host in the progress. If I know Lady Chiyo the way I think I do, if they get there too late she will sacrifice herself for him. I won’t let that happen.” I told him walking over to the blonde girl from before. “So you were his sister.” I said and she nodded.

“Yeah. I’m sorry I never told you before but my name is Temari.” I nodded.

“I want you two to take me to where Lady Chiyo is.” I told them. She looked confused but nodded. They took off with me on their tail.

Once we got there, everyone was in a circle around the Kazekage with Lady Chiyo’s hands over a blonde guys and they were both on top of the Kazekage’s chest. I saw Lady Chiyo’s eyes slowly drop and quickly realized what had just happened. “LADY CHIYO!” I yelled running over to her before she hit the ground. “Come on...You didn’t just...did you?” I asked  shaking her. I felt her pulse and knew that she was gone. I sighed and gently rested her on the ground. I turned to the Kazekage, Gaara, and saw that he still wasn’t breathing. I looked to the blonde guy who was just staring at me. “You, put your hands back. I’m going to finish what she gave her life for.” I told him. He nodded and did as I said.

“Yumiko? But won't you die?” I heard Sakura ask from behind me. I shook my head.

“I Have more life energy that Lady Chiyo did. I should be fine with some help.” I told her placing my hands on top of the blond kids. Before I started I looked to him. “If you start to feel dizzy tell me.” He nodded and I begun to interweave my chakra, this kids and what Lady Chiyo already put in together to patch up the Kazekage’s life.

After a few more minutes the Kazekage’s eyes fluttered and I stopped knowing my job was done. I sighed and keeled beside Lady Chiyo as everyone cheered for Gaara. “I’m sorry I wasn’t fast enough.” I whispered to her and stood up. The whole town was here and everyone was cheering for Gaara for coming back form the dead. I saw a few tears come from Temari’s eyes and smiled knowing I did my job once again.

I walked back to my house as I vowed to myself that I will find a way to save people from death because of something like this.
