Val's Pov

"One more day to go till school starts" I sighed

I'm now strolling at the park playing with my dog that my aunt gave me since we got here

"Coco! Stop running like a maniac! I can't catch you you're too fast" I yelled but not loud enough for everyone to hear.

Then something unexpected but expected at clichè movies happened

I bumped into someone I don't even know and I steadied my self when I saw a guy, a freaking guy! Its not like I don't like guys its just that i'm not a social person especially when it comes to guys.

"Move out of the way lady and next time watch out where your going" he said in annoyance, nice choice of words but you're the one who did it first.... or not. Ugh such a jerk I told myself as I moved away from that ugly monkey

I'd be lying if I said he isn't handsome on the outside but not on the inside.

Then suddenly someone I also didn't know came to me

"What a jerk right" she said. I agree but I think there's more than that

"And why is that?" I asked

"Cause he's so cold. He just shuts people out with that attitude of his, he's hansome though" She sighed in disappointment

After the walk in the park I felt a little pang of hurt of what just happened and how he treated me like trash.

So I just did what I always do when I'm sad

Talk to my friends, but unluckily they are not here. So Ice Cream is the second choice

I went to an ice cream store then bought a bubblegum flavored ice cream.

Then I saw the same ugly monkey eating ice cream too... and smiling? with a little girl but he didn't seem to notice me. Well at least ice cream makes us both happy.

As I was going back to my house I past by my soon-to-become school. It was colorful and elegant.

I saw some highschool students, I think, playing around and laughing

Who even goes or hangs out at school on a sunday

Sunday means freedom till tomorrows hell and they're at school hanging out, like who even does that. So I decided to check it out it, seemed fun.

Me and Coco walked around the school's field running around like crazy. When we finished playing I looked at the time and it was already noon. Many hours had passed on such little moments.

Then someone came to me, wow a whole day with a bunch of strangers coming to me. Is it just me or does this place seem very friendly, not really all...

"HIIIIII, are you new here? Cause I think you're new here, because I haven't seen that face anywhere. Oh by the way I'm Adeline but people call me Adel like the six Grammy award winner, nah, I'm just kidding. They call me Eli, altough I sing very good, but did you get the joke though or Do I just talk fast? Like soooo fast cause that's what they usually say. So what's your name? where do you live? How old are you? Are you a senior? Can we be friends? Or even more besties?" she finished talking which I didn't understand at all.

I think I only understood that her name is Adine? ummm and asking me what my name is and if I'm a new student?

"Hello too, I'm Valerie but people call me Val. And I just moved here a day yesterday. Nice to meet you Adine" I said slowly, no one really knows that I exist except this jolly person

"Its actually Adeline you know" she said correctly but too fast

"adwine?" I asked her

"A-d-e-l-i-n um E yeah, Adeline but you can call me Eli" she said properly

"Oh, I'm so sorry you're talking a bit fast" I told her honestly

"Oh sorry. But hey your new here, so see you tomorrow I got to go byeeeee" she said as she ran with tripping along the way, I think I like this girl. She's so joyful, kinda reminds me of Cami

We walked passed the neighborhood saying hello back to my new neighbors even though I'm shy and finally finalllyyyyy got home.

We were eating silently when my dad decided to speak "So Val are you excited for school tomorrow? Cause I'm really excited for mine" my dad said happily, I couldn't say no to my dad, he's just too jolly

"Yeah can't wait" I said munching on my food

"Make friends, don't be too shy and be more active okay?" My mom added

"I'll try" I told them and excused myself then went to my room.

I opened my latop to say hi to my friends "Hey girlfrienddd, how's your day? did you have fun? Did you do the things we told you to? Ohhh did you meet a hottie?" They both said in unison at the last sentence, oh boy! What a great way to greet someone

"Well hello to you too guys, The day went well and very interesting..." I said unsure

"awwww she saw a boy I can see it clearly in her eyes" Cami said, she can really read your mind

"Atlast something new after all this years, now spill out" Lucy eyed me

"Ugh are you kidding me!" I groaned

"NO" they both said

"Fine, I bumped into a jerk and I met someone named Eli and I'm sleeping cause tomorrow school start. Bye guys, love you, nighty" I ended it before they start asking questions.

Tomorrow will be the start of my daily challenge in living.
