Val's Pov

School is starting today.

Time to meet new people maybe friends, new lessons maybe headaches, new teachers maybe torturers, new friends maybe enemies

Today is the day I start my new life.

I got up very early because I don't want people staring at me when I'm late.

I took a relaxing shower then decided to wear a loose crop top, leggings, sneakers and a black bag to top it off.

I went downstairs to eat pancakes that my mom had made me for breakfast

"You look great for your first day Val" my mom said looking at me

"Thanks mom. I think i'll just walk to school todayy" I told her, then we said goodbyes to each other and I started walking to school.

When I got there all I have to say was 3 letters. WOW

I mean there's so many students here I don't even know where the principal's office is. I guess I have to ask them even though I'm kinda shy.

I went to a boy, tall I guess maybe a senior too but he also looks familiar. Its better to ask someone familiar than a stranger right? Here goes nothing

"Hi I'm new here, can I ask you where the principal's office is?" I asked him but as he turned around I was very shocked to see

Yes the guy whose a jerk and rude and the guy who I bumped at

"Oh well ms. Not-paying-attention-to-where-she's-looking-at asked me?" He said with a face that seemed to be shocked

"Yes captain obvious I'm asking you " I rolled my eyes

"Well my answer is no you cannot ask me where the principal's office is" he said with a smirk on his face. I hate him already

"Excuse me?!" I was surprised by his answer

"You said 'can I ask you where the principal's office is' so I answered no you cannot ask me where it is!" He mimicked me

Ugh! What a childish jerk! So what I did best is to walk away and ask another person and thank god they weren't rude.

I finally got my locker number and class schedule from the principal. Then I went to my first subject, history.

I went inside the classroom and thank god he wasn't there altough he should be because I have the same class as him, then the teacher got in, we started introducing each other blah blah blah. Then the long unawaited hell starts.

After that whole boring morning it was lunch time at last! FOOD don't blame me I'm not a genius and I'm starving

I went to the cafeteria and got some food. I almost spilled my food when someone came over me and poked me suddenly.

Who does that? Who pokes someone so hard, but really why would they poke me, I am not a squishy

"Hey, Val right? Welcome to our school. Remember me? Eli the fast talking person" she laughed, oh it was adeline well at least I have someone to talk to

"Hey Eli, your school is nice" although some people... not really

"Come sit with me, I'll let you meet your new friends" she said

"Thanks Eli, back in our old school I wasn't that type to make friends and socialize" I told her as we went to a table with a two girls and two boys

"Guys meet Val, she's new here, she's also a senior so be nice and not that much crazy" she said and eyed a blonde haired girl.

"Val meet Dawn" she pointed to a blonde haired girl "hey" she waved at me

"Meet Aulie" she pointed to a hazel haired girl "Hi Val" she said with excitement

"Eliot" she poited to a curly haired boy with freckles "Hi" he waved

"And finally meet Xavier" She pointed to a brown haired boy "Nice to meet ya" he said with an accent

"Hey everyone nice to meet you" I said as I sat beside Eli.

"I never thought I would end up with you guys. To be honest I'm not a sociable person, sometimes I am but when I tell them about my hypersensitivity reaction or being over-sensitive they just leave me, I actually don't know why" I told them with my heart beating fastly if they would understand what I'm dealing with

"Val... Its fine, I don't know what others think about you because being imperfect is a way to show that your human" Dawn patted my back and I smiled back

"We understand and accept all your flaws even if its good or bad" Eliot told me

"Thanks guys... for understanding" I smiled at them

Maybe just maybe this will be a great start for me

We talked and got to know each other. Dawn lives around my block, Aulie has the same dog as mine, Eliot is a smartie, and Xavier has a weird accent that he made up to make him look foreign and Eli is always positive and jolly. I guess everything that we have in common is that we're crazy, at least I found my pack.

We talked and talked until the bell rang meaning lunch is over.

We all went to our classes and luckily Aulie and I have the same class so it wouldn't be awkward for me.

Then the last subject ended fast. We bid our goodbyes then I started walking home.

Who would've thought that me an anti-social person would end up with friends.

Let's just wait if they will still understand me if they know what I really have been dealing with
