"Soon enough she'll be gone." I laughed.________
"What about you Felix?" I asked. "What have you been up to this summer?"
"Well, summer wasn't too big of a deal, the norm."
"Did you meet anyone?" I questioned. Felix usually had good stories of what he did while I wasn't alongside him.
"Well, kinda." He took another drink.
"Yeah?" I smiled.
"Yeah, they were so cool. I felt something around them that I hadn't around anyone else."
"You 'falling in love'?" I laughed.
"Well, um." He shrugged.
"Wait," I became serious. "You think you might be, in love?"
"I wouldn't say 'in love' but-"
"But what Felix? You finally decided that you found 'the one'? Or would you call her a 'soul mate'?" I started to sound angry. "You ready to get married? You said yourself that teenagers can't fall in love and now your gonna go off and live happily ever after? What's her name? What do you suddenly know all about love Felix?"
"Why are you getting angry at me?" He raised his voice.
"You lied to me!" I paused looking at him. "You said so much that goes against what you're saying right now."
"Am I not allowed to change my mind?" He spoke harshly.
"Not when you're going to change it again."
"What?"
"This is false love man."
"Mark you don't even know who he is." I opened my mouth to speak before stoping myself.
"He?" I asked quietly. I looked at him, his head hung low. I had no idea wether it was in shame or embarrassment. He started nodding.
"Yeah, he." Felix lifted his head with a slight smile. "Mark, this might be false love but I'm willing to find out." His smile grew as he thought of this guy that he loved. My smile reappeared.
"From the look on your face, I don't think this is fake." I couldn't help but speak the truth, he looked 'in love'. "So what's his name?" As Felix opened his mouth to speak the door to the room opened.
"It isn't flooded anymore drive me home." It was Y/n, she sounded more angry then usual. I turned my head to look out the window. From what I could see there was still quite a lot of water, but she was right I could drive through this. I looked back noticing Y/n heading down the hallway.
"I've been drinking!" I yelled to her referring to the bottle in my hand.
"One beer barely gets you buzzed." Y/n yelled back as she continued down the stairs without giving me a second glance. I looked back at Felix.
"How many beers have we had?" I asked.
"How many were in the fridge?" He asked.
"About 24 cans."
"Then I'd say.." he scratched his chin, "About 24 cans." He laughed.
"Shit, I can't drive like this." I laughed with him.
"Pussy." Felix laughed, I continued to laugh with him.
"I'm gonna be driving with Y/n, I don't want to kill her. And if I get caught I can't water my plants." Felix nodded.
"Pussy." He laughed harder then the first time.
"Shuddup Felix, you're drunk." I chuckled.
"So are you." He spoke through his laughter.
"I need to go tell Y/n something." I stood up.
"Is it a secret?" Felix asked.
"Go to sleep, I'll talk to you tomorrow."
"I can do that." He fell onto his back, laying flat on my bed. I walked down the hallway to the stairs.
"Y/n!" I yelled as I slowly walked down the staircase. I held tightly to the railing as I looked for Y/n at the bottom.
"Where are your keys?" I heard her yell back.
"In my pocket I think." I was just a few steps from the end when Y/n came out of literally nowhere and put her hand in my front pocket.
"It isn't there." She said pulling her hand back.
"I am wearing jeans, pushy. I have four pockets." I reached the ground and started looking for my keys. "Here they are." I said fishing them out of my back pocket.
"Let's go." She started walking towards the garage door.
"I've been drinking."
"How much?" She didn't look back when she asked.
"What's half of around 24?" I smiled. She stopped in her tracks turning to me.
"You drank 12 beers at 11pm?" She looked pissed, if I was in my right mind I would lie.
"Is 12 half of 24?" I asked.
"Give me the god damn keys, I'm going to drive."
"How will I get my car back? I need that for going to school." She walked up to me.
"You don't even go to school." she grabbed the keys from me.
"Not for school." I laughed following her to my car.
"Oh yeah what do you go for, the sluts?" She unlocked the car and got into the driver's side. I quickly ran around my car to get into the passengers side.
"No, I go for you." I smiled at her.
"Oh yeah?" She asked putting the keying in the ignition (Idk if that's spelled right or not).
"Yeah, for you and your amazing comebacks and your smile."
"You haven't seen me smile."
"Yes I have and it's amazing." She paused what she was doing before turning her head to look at me. She continued to look angry.
"Mark I know what you're doing." She seemed so serious, but that's what confused me. What was I doing? What was she referring to?
"What, am I doing?" I asked. She rolled her eyes with a sigh.
"'Soon enough she'll be gone.' those were your exact words right?" She looked at me waiting for a response.
"Well, this is a conundrum." I laughed.
________
Yup, more loose ends to be tied. How will this end? Whats gonna happen? In other words a cliffhanger. Not a good thing for friends but a great thing for stories or a TV show. Hope you liked this even if the ending of this chapter wasn't satisfying.
BUH BYE!!! Lol (lots of love)
