Now finally at Ever After, everyone had some rest after the hardships of the adventure. Afternoon was just coming down and nighttime came to play.
A lot has happened on this particular day, secrets were told, celebrations were held, not so much rest were taken place, but Raven was glad to be back home and to find everything normal again.
She was shocked at what happen those past few days. Raven couldn't believe her mother cast a curse all because of her not wanting to follow her footsteps. The worst part yet she blamed others instead of telling the truth.
Raven held the three gems that were in her hand. She didn't know what to do with them.
There was a knock on the door and Raven found Dexter standing at the doorway when she opened it.
" Oh hi Dexter." Raven greeted.
" Hi Raven..." Dexter replied.
" I was wondering if you'd like to go somewhere. Maybe at Hocus Café?" Dexter added.
" That'd be lovely." Raven smiled.
At the café, Raven and Dexter ordered some nice espresso coffee and sat outside for a bit of fresh air. It was nice and calm, perfect for some relaxation.
" It's nice to be back home isn't it?" Dexter asked as he sipped some coffee.
" It sure is." Raven gave a grin.
Then, Dexter noticed something reflecting from the sunlight inside Raven's pocket. He wondered what it was.
" Hey Raven, what's inside your pocket?" Dexter asked.
" Oh, these?" Raven took out the three gems.
" I didn't know where to put them for now so I put them there as I looked for a place." Raven explained.
" Why don't you ask Headmaster Grimm?" Dexter asked.
" That sounds like a good idea." Raven said.
After hanging out in Hocus Café, Raven and Dexter went to Headmaster Grimm's office.
" Headmaster Grimm? Are you in there?" Raven asked as she knocked on the office's front door.
" Ms.Queen, come in." a voice called out.
They both enter quietly and quickly. The headmaster was sitting at his desk arranging paperwork. He looked up slowly and widened his eyes when he saw the shiny gems.
" Where do you suppose found those gems Ms.Queen?" Miles asked.
" At each forest of Ever After." Raven explained. " We found them in order to cure the curse that was going on."
" Well good for you Raven." Miles smiled. " Even though your destiny is to cast curses I'm glad that you did your thing."
" Me too Headmaster, me too." Raven smiled back.
" Here you go." Raven added as she handed the gems to the principal. " Do you suppose have a safe place to put these gems?"
" I surely do." Miles reached down and pulled out a drawer to reveal a small chest with blue and golden accents.
He placed the three gems inside once opened and closed the box tightly. Then he put the box back at it's place.
" Well," Miles looked at the couple. "the gems are safe and sound."
" You know Mr. Grimm, I have a question." Raven said.
" Yes?" Miles raised an eyebrow.
" Someone told me that you're a reason why my mother set this curse, but why?" Raven asked. " I mean, I know there's more than just trapping her in mirror prison."
" Your mother set this curse before," Miles sighed. " and when she did she tried to steal the gems since she knew they were in this chest. But I hid them in each forest or gave them to a person I trusted."
" It makes sense." Dexter replied.
" Oh, Raven." Miles added. " You know that your mother is know trapped inside the gems right?"
" She is?" Raven asked.
" Well, the gems turn into a mirror when connected so it means she's trapped in the mirror realm. But she can only get out from the gems. It's quite confusing." Miles explained.
" I see." Raven said feeling bewildered. " Well, I'll see you around Headmaster."
" Me too Ms.Queen." Miles took out some more paperwork,
" It's Raven." Raven teased.
" I know Ms.Queen, I know." Miles laughed.
