This is the end everybody! Thank you for the support and enjoy this last but not least chapter!
" Dad!" Raven ran to give an embrace when she saw her father at the entrance of the high school doors. He was here to talk to Headmaster Grimm.
" Raven dear." King Hector embraced his daughter tightly. " I'm so glad to see you. Especially after this curse. I'm so glad you're alright."
" I'm extremely glad you're okay dad. I thought mom would hurt you.."
" And why would you think that?" her father asked her.
" I just don't know...but never mind. Let's head onto the Headmaster's office." Raven said as she wrapped her arm around her father's and headed off into the hallways.
The father and his daughter reached the office where Miles was already standing. The three was going to have a chat about something very important. Miles lead them two into the office and motioned them to sit down.
" King Hector of the Queen's." Miles said. " Your daughter has done something quite tremendous."
" What has she done?" King Hector asked with a hint of worry in his voice.
" She has, with the help of some friends, cured the Three Forest Curse. That curse has one of the most time consuming cures to ever find these days. And not to mention she trapped her mother in an improved and prestigious trap." Miles answered.
" Raven...." the king gasped.
Raven blushed before her dad as an answer of "yes".
" Oh Raven, I'm so proud of you." her father hugged her tight. " I knew there was a hint of hero inside you."
" Yes....and I'd been thinking of something. Since Legacy Day, I've been secretly wondering this. But now I know the answer. Raven Queen, I'd like to announce something in public but I need your permission." the headmaster asked.
" Yes Headmaster, you may." Raven smiled.
Headmaster Grimm pulled his microphone closer and spoke into it.
" All students and visitors please report to the Auditorium." Miles said as the announcement speakers blasted out his words around the school.
After a while everyone was at the Auditorium ready to hear what Headmaster Grimm had to say. Some were nervous while some felt proud to be there since they knew what was going on.
" Students and everyone here are present to witness one of the most changing day of their lives." Milton announced.
" Today is the day, where we announce something life changing...for all of us." Milton added as his brother walked on stage.
" It is true," Co-Headmaster Grimm said. " when I heard this I was very shocked, but proud."
" And this is where we say that the students of Ever After will no longer rely on the Storybook of Legends to see their future." Miles and Giles announced in unison. The audience cheered loudly and clapped hard with pride. Some even cried without a care if anyone saw them. They were happy to hear that they could write their own destinies without any worries.
Later on the day, Raven's father was leaving due to some kingdom business he had to do.
" I'm so proud of you Raven dear." King Hector hugged her tight.
" I'm just glad you're okay dad." Raven hugged him back.
" I'll see you." he smiled and called out once he stepped inside his carriage. The carriage took off and left the entrance of the high school.
The afternoon came rolling in and Raven went to the school balcony to watch the sunset like any other day at Ever After. She didn't notice that Dexter was behind her until he placed both of his hands on her shoulders.
" Dexter?" Raven questioned as she turned around to see him. " What are you doing here?"
" I wanted to join you." Dexter said. "To see this wonderful sunset."
Raven smiled as the two looked above to see the wonderful mixture of purple, orange, and pink upon the sky. No more green.
Raven was glad that everything turned out just as what they seemed to be. Everything was back to normal. And Raven could write her own Happily Ever After.
The End.
