Chapter 5-Girls Night

I wake up feeling well rested from my long sleep. But I'm not in my tower...I'm in Carl's cell.

What the heck am I doing in Carl''s cell?!

I don't remember going to bed last night, I fell asleep in the car. But why would they pu tme in Carl's cell instead of my own tower?

I'm on the top bunk and I slide off onto the floor and I get a slight fright when I hear

"Morning sleepy head!" from behind

That's Carl's voice!

I turn around and sure enough there lies Carl, in his bed. He is not wearing a top which gave me butterflies in my stomach. I liked the feeling.

"Um hey haha..." I laugh awkwardly

"Why am i in your cell?" i ask with a puzzled tone

"You fell asleep in the car last night and I couldn't be bothered carrying you up the tower" He says with a smile

"Oh...thanks for carrying me to bed Carl" I say smiling back as I turn to peer in the mirror and adjust my hair. I put in the blue band my father had gave me and passed a quick thought for my father. A great man.

"So what's the plan for today" I say as a spin round to face carl with a smile

he doesn't reply immediately, he just looks at me smiling for a few seconds

"Well, we could go on a run. Hershel could use some medical supplies and um Glenn he wanted me to get something for him..."

He says to me, the smile drops when he mentions Glenn, he immediately regretted mentioning.

"What does Glenn want" I say with a giggle because i know he doesn't want to say

"It's a secret" He replies as he removes his bed sheet and stands up grabing a shirt from his bed side and putting it on

"Come onnn..." I say putting on my cutest voice

"Oh alright fine, but you swear not to tell?" He says, now fully clothed.

"Swear" I say, with a mischievous grin painted across my face.

"Ok, he wants condoms for him and Maggy...Ok you happy now?"

"Oh" I say looking down to the ground...

There is about 15 seconds of silence before we both burst out laughing

"Come on silly lets go get breakfast" I say to him as he grabs hit hat and puts it on coverng his messy bed hair

We both head over to one of the tables. It seems we are the last to arrive.

We sit down at a table with Maggy and Michone.

"Morning guys" Maggie says with a huge grin and a flirtatious tone

"Um...You ok Maggie?" Carl said puzzled

"Oh I'm great!" She said with the same tone but even more flirtatious than before.

"Heard you slept in Carl's cell last night Rosie" Michone says with a small smile.

"Oh i just fell asleep and he carried me there because it was closer than the tower..." I say proudly

"Suuuuuuuure" Daryl says, as he clearly over heard the conversation. He winks at me as he walks past.

We all have a giggle except Carl who seems extremely nervous, turning almost as red as a fire engine.

Carol puts a bowl of oat meal down in front of me
