"The 19 years old popstar Niall Horan released his new video cl-" Liam slammed his alarm harshly. That was absolutely not how he meant to wake up. He whimpered at the massive pain his kidneys caused him, but he'd get through the day he guessed.

He didn't want to reminded. He had tried so hard. So hard to contact Niall after three months of trying to get his mind to all that happend, but he had never managed to. His telephone number had changed ever since he was on the x-factor he guessed, because everytime he'd call the Niall's 'old' number, he'd get a voice speaking saying the phonenumber was out of use.

He went to Niall's home to talk to Maura and got told Niall wouldn't return soon, neither was she willing to give Niall's new phonenumber.

"I'm sorry Liam.. 3 months have past. He needed you, he's been waiting for you and now he's trying to move on. I don't even want to see him this unhappy again. He's making it outta there. I think it's a better idea both of you move on. If it's meant to be, you guys will eventually get together again."

Yes, he still remembered her exact words and they apparently weren't meant to be, because almost two years had passed and they still remained far away from eachother. Ofcourse he hadn't given up on Niall after listening to Maura, but it was a hopeless case. Niall had gotten world famous in such a short time and Liam had been unable to reach him.

He dragged himself out of bed and sighed softly as he looked in the mirror. He defenitly had to shave and go to the hairdresser, he just didn't feel like it.

He wasn't a teacher anymore. He was working at the office. He couldn't say he fully enjoyed his work, but it was okay he guessed. Liam who used to be a very social guy now prefered to spend his time alone. He didn't get in touch with alot of people just doing paperwork. Yes, he had to send e-mails, but it wasn't direct contact, face to face.

He still had contact with Harry though, having to admit he felt jealously everytime he heard his child laughing, crying even, but he tried to shut those feelings off because he absolutely wished for Harry to be happy. Same went for Louis, who still remained as a music teacher. He knew all about him and Niall now though and had been supporting Liam to the fullest.

By that it paid well.

He could say his apartment was luxurious. He left the old small house behind eventhough he couldn't make himself sell it. He still owned it, he just never get him. Once a year he made an exception. The day they lost their kid... He'd go back and stay the night just reminding everything that happend in that house. That house that someone gave him a satisfied feeling.  He bought stuff to satisfy himself, but he never actually was. Money didn't make happy, love did or well, not in this case, but he had been in touch with the bright side of love. Untill it came to an end ofcourse.

Niall wasn't here, but at the same time he was everywhere. He was on the posters through the city, on the radio in the early moving, on the news, behind the glass window of a shop and most of all he was in Liam's heart where he'd remain forever.

Liam groaned and got to the bathroom. He shaved since he had to look neat at work, but that was literally the only reason. He sighed softly and got on his suit, grabbing his laptop from the desk as he put it in his bag. This was probably how it went everyday. Wake up, dress up, work, dinner, sleep. He didn't feel like doing anything else.

In weekends he'd end up just sleeping, or working on saturday as well, just to kill time. Liam didn't felt like he was living. Only Niall could make him live.

He had never understood back then.. Never understood how you could get so attached to someone you didn't want to live without them. Not understand how people could suicide and leave their family behind after their lover passed away in an accident. How that person that meant the world to you could be taken away from you within a second.

Life is unfair, but what do you do about it?

That's right. Nothing at all.

He walked over to table looking at the 3 number blocks which he bought so their child could play with them. They used to count down the days to go before Niall would give birth. He sighed and changed the number 18, to 17.

Now he was counting down ti'll his kidneys would give in to the date the doctor's had given him, take his life and he didn't even mind.

Niall smiled satisfied as he looked around in his old bedroom. It had been six months ago since he last walked in here and absolutely nothing had changed. Not like he expected anything to have changed though.

He had gotten a week off. He fell on the bed and tried to think off how he was going to reach the big oak after buying flowers without being spotted and bombarded with fans and paparazzi. Everyone needed a break once in a while. He had tried his hardest to keep it a secret he was returning home just so he would be able to sleep without yelling fans outside the door.

Unfamiliar clothes was a first thing. Something to cover his hair maybe? He sighed softly and got up as he walked to his clothes taking out old clothes as he took them on. Niall had gotten more muscline, so their were slightly too tight, but he could live with it. He grabbed some spare money and put it in his pocket as he took on his sneakers and pulled a beanie over his head.

"I'm out for a bit!" He yelled. "Make sure you're home for dinner!" At times like this it almost was like he never left. Like he was going off to a friend as his mom would get when he called that he wouldn't be home for dinner in the end as he and his friends decided to order pizza.

He moved through the dark streets to the flower shop as he bought roses smiling weakly as he moved to the forest. He had to admit it was kinda scary walking there all alone in the dark. It made him remind of his dreams really. He walked to the oak while watching the stars as he saw someone putting two small shoes on the ground in front of the tree.

He was facing the back of this person and couldn't see who it was. He frowned. Was it Liam..? Ofcourse not. Liam didn't care. The person turned and looked at him suprised and reconized the person.

"Mister Tomlinson..?"

So, I hope you all like the plot twist! I'm thinking about moving this story up to 30 chapters and then come to on end. I'm thinking of a new Niam fanfiction though which I will probably start after I finished this one. I'll put the link on here along with a new chapter when I got something in mind! Sorry for the slow updates, as you all know exams are coming up.
