A Tale of Two Princes

~~Alright, To make things easier, I won't be using Authors Notes for these next three chapters because why should I? Well, I guess I shall see you after these chapters!!~~

Mark's P.O.V.

I chuckled lightly, smiling up at Jack as he slowly stopped laughing after a joke I said.

"You're such a dork..." He huffed out, still catching his breath from his laughs.

"Ya, but I'm your dork!" I smiled at him as he turned, a fake grumble on his lips but still with an obvious smile. Jack was still sitting next to me at a distance from the water with his green tail shining in the morning light. I couldn't help but stare at him, he was a creature of beauty... and he was mine. I looked up to his green mess of hair, my crown still loosely placed on his head, fitting perfectly upon his head.

"Actually Jack, I need to tell you something. I won't be able to make it to our morning meeting tomorrow, I am trapped in the castle all day. Those royal delegates I told you about earlier, we are having a ball for their arrival. I am stuck entertaining them until the ball in the evening, and there is no way I can come down, I'm sorry Jack." I looked down at my hands as I said this, sadness slowly taking over my mood.

'Alright, I guess there will be no Mark time for poor little Jack!" He casually replied, and I looked at him with confusion.

"What, were you expecting more of a reaction? So what you can't make it, It just means I'll see you in two days, nothing huge. I will miss you, though." He ended his sentence quietly, with his forehead touching mine. I smiled, and slowly leaned in, until-

"Oh fuck you!!" I pushed my face off the ground to look up at Jack and yell at him. He was sitting there laughing his head off as I pushed myself back into a sitting position. He had pulled away as I was about to kiss him, leaving me falling head-first into the dirt. I then stood up, and within seconds Jack was in my arms.

"Oh shit, Mark, what the hell are you doing?! Put me down ya goof!!" Jack started to grab my shoulders, trying to get out of my grip. I felt an evil smile find it's way onto my lips, and I couldn't stop the slightly dark chuckle that came.

"I hope you enjoy your bath, my prince..." I let out another chuckle as I let go of him, but it was over the pool and he fell with a splash into the cold morning waters.

"FUCK!! This is FUCKING COLD!!" Jack started to shout and all I could do was laugh at him struggling in the water to regain warmth.

"Aww, want me to kiss it better? Well, I guess you don't since you rejected me earlier!" I called down to him, and he shot me a playful glare. I chuckled, before I jumped in myself, slashing Jack on my way in.

"You bastard, I was gonna pull you in too..." Jack chuckled at me, trying to sound pissed, I swam over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek before we continued to goof around in the water. After a few moments, Jack suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned to me

"Wait, Mark, your crown!" He spoke out, and before I could say anything, Jack had already dived down under. I waited for a few moments until His green head popped back up, and his hands reached out to place my wet crown on my hair.

"You didn't need to Jack, I was hoping for it to get lost!" I jokingly complained to him, and he just rolled his eyes before I turned to place my crown on the shore.

"You are going to have to pay for finding my crown..." I smiled at him as we both giggled, and continued to do random shit in the water, laughing our heads off, and enjoying the company.
