THE wind was strong today. jae noticed it well. she can almost see it, and the blueish-black in it. it reminded her of hoseok, and for some reason, it calmed her well.

her parents and brother were quite appalled when they saw her sitting on the dining table, quietly sipping her coffee. she barely stayed downstairs, and usually only came out to go outside, or gather food to bring upstairs. maybe that's why it was such a new sight.

her mother greeted her well, however, and they actually had an okay colloquy. she asked most questions on jae's current state. after she gave her three hugs, she went to the kitchen to cook dinner.

"j–jae," a calm, slightly thick voice calls out her name, as she turned around to find her brown-haired older brother, sitting next to her.

"yes seokjin... oppa," she asked in a monotone, quiet voice.

"uh.. jimin came up to me yesterday. he's asking on how you're doing lately. he never sees you in school anymore, and you barely respond to his texts."

jae only shrugged her shoulders, seemingly careless about her brother's story and jimin.

"tell him i'm okay. and you know mom won't let me go back to public school until i'm... fit enough."

seokjin stared at her for a second, before nodding. he quietly ate with her after, but soon stopped, in hopes of having a decent conversation with his estranged younger sister.
