SHE pulls away immediately, staring at the boy with wide eyes. he stared back at her, with the same look. they didn't speak a word for a whole minute. the silence was quite unbearable for the girl.
"o–oh," hoseok croaked out, breaking the minute long silence. the brims of jae's eyes started to pile with tears.
"i'm sorry, god, i'm so sorry," she apologized, her voice barely above a whisper.
she turned around and started to run away.
"wait, jae—"
her feet didn't stop running, and so did her tears. she cannot believe this has happened. her head was twisted into tight knots and confusing ties
