HER hand shakily uncovers the unknown item.

hoseok's switchblade.

she slowly switches it open, the shiny, steel outshining the moonlight above. she remembers all the memories with hoseok—the first time they met, kissed, loved, and sang beautiful songs. all the memories that didn't exist.

jae unconsciously presses her index finger into the tip of the steel, causing a drops of blood to fall from her fingertips.

and suddenly, she finds herself raising the love of her life's possession, and roughly thrusts it into her abdomen.

shades of red carpet liquid stains her clothes, and jae becomes limp. she can only stare up into the blueish black sky, slowly turning light. however, it was still so black and brown to her.

suddenly, she feels someone shift next to her. she resists the growing pain in her stomach just to peek at who it is.

hot streams of tears fly out of her eyes when she sees who it is.

"h–hoseok," she attempts to speak clearly, but the blood forming in her mouth prevents her from doing so, "i'm... i'm..."

"it's okay," hoseok's beautiful, b flat voice replies. he kisses jae once more,

"i know."
