"It's been a week, you should take atleast one step towards his treatment, those medicines don't do shit, they're useless." Perrie listened carefully to Jade, Perrie knew Jade was right. The medicine they take doesn't make a difference in their state but in Zayn's case, how could she treat him? She's never dealed with deppresion before.

It's been a week since Zayn's arrival and every passing day he becomes even more interesting and important to her, he didn't talk to her since that day in her office but she's trying. Also, she tried to make her father stay away from him, her anger didn't ease on her father but she said nothing, she focused on taking care of her patients and ignored him completely.

She spent most of her time with Zayn, taking care of him and his nightmares, it's one thing she learned from staying so much with him, he had nightmares and he'd mumble things she couldn't understand when he wakes up from them, sometimes it gets so bad that she could hear his screaming from her office but when she wakes him up and holds him, it becomes okay after a while.

"i'm aware, I just don't know how? I know nothing about him." Perrie's eyebrows furrowed in thought, if he would just talk to her, it would've been so much easier. She didn't know the reason behind his silence, he stayed silent all the time, maybe it's because the murder he's accused of? She wasn't sure. She still had to learn so much about this murder.

"MDD could be treated, i know you never had to treat a person with this illness before but i know someone who did, maybe he can help you." Jade raised one eyebrow at her, a smirk taking over her lips as she did, it was a good idea. Perrie did need some help with Zayn.

"Who?"

"Harry."

"Harry?" Perrie asked in surprise, she never knew he knew someone who had this illness, her eyebrows furrowed even more in confusion. She knew everything about Harry but this was new to her.

"His mother, Anne. She was a patient here before she passed away."

All this new information took her by surprise, his mother had MDD? This kind of explains why when she was almost 18 she went to visit them but didn't find Anne, Harry just told her she went to visit Gemma, his sister, who is currently in America. Whenever she went to visit them he'd make up excuses to her absence. But this surely doesn't explain the reason behind the illness, Anne was a very cheerful person. she was fine and sane.

"Why? What happened to Anne?"

Jade obviously gulped and looked nervously around the room, she couldn't answer her question, she's not allowed to. She cleared her throat and shrugged, Perrie looked at her with confusion but Jade only shrugged, again.

"I don't know the whole story, go ask Harry." She immediately ended the conversation, picked up a few files and went out of the office, leaving Perrie with her thoughts.

This only adds to her unanswered questions, there were too many questions in her head and she felt as if her head might explode, why was everyone being so mysterious? Every single person she loved dearly lile family died, just all of them. the only ones left were Alexander and Harry.

-

She knocked on the door twice before opening the door and stepping in without a warning, she stopped walking when she saw Alexander putting something in his office's drawer and pushing it shut quickly, she eyed him curiously. He cleared his throat and crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for her to speak.

"Good morning, Perrie. i'm glad you came i was th-"

"I'm not here to start a conversation with you, that's for sure." She cut him off immediately, her tone cold and distant. It's been a week and her anger didn't ease, not a little bit and she knew she'll stay like this for a while longer, he was her father but her father could've been the cause of a very dangerous physical damage of someone so delicate.
