Chapter Four (Macy POV)

The next morning I woke up next to Dan, I jumped and tumbled out of bed with a thump, because I know I went to bed alone. He groaned and looked over the side of the bed. "Did I scare you?" he said in his sexy morning voice, I shook my thoughts away and stood up.

"Yes so please wake me and tell me when you're joining me in bed before you jump in and sleep with me." I grumbled dusting my butt off.

"Sorry." He said getting up and stretching "do we have school today?" He looked at me.

"Yes but there's mud and water everywhere on campus so I would dress accordingly." I said going through my drawers, we'll also need to go to the store so we can get some food since gramps and granny are living here now."

"Yeah, do they have any money on them or are we going to have to use our own?" He asked.

"Probably our money but if they have any we should get it because they won't want us spending our money on them." I said. "Now get out I'm gonna change." He shrugged and walked out, closing the door. I changed and did my hair before walking out and going to the kitchen.

"Gramps we're gonna hit the store after school so we can get some food for the house, do you have and money?" I asked, grabbing the bread and putting two slices in the toaster.

"Yes I've got some on me." he said pulling out his wallet and opening it up, he pulled out a couple of twenties and handed me his debit card.

"Thank you Gramps." I said smiling at him.

"No problem, now be careful, I don't want you to hurt yourself on the way down." he said.

"I will don't worry." I said hugging him, I let go and headed for the door "come on Dan!" I called back, I heard the thumping of his feet as he ran out of his room while trying to pull his raincoat and backpack on at the same time, I laughed when I saw that and walked outside to a sleeping Fulgur "Fulgur wake up." I said nudging her, she raised her head slightly and stretched.

Is it morning already? She asked.

Yes now get up, you need to fly us down the mountain so we can go to school. I said getting on her back, Dan hopped on behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist so he wouldn't fall, Fulgur stood up and opened her wings, beating them a couple times she lifted off the ground and glided down the mountain, she landed at the foot of the mountain and crouched to let us off.

"Thanks Fulgur." I said sliding off her back.

You're welcome Tra- Macy. she said correcting herself as I glared slightly at her, I smiled when she did so and patted her nose. I could walk with you so you don't get as wet. she said noting the rain that still came down, I looked up at the grey stormclouds and nodded at her, opened one of her wings and covered Dan and I, we walked for a bit until we were near the school.

You have to go now Fulgur. I said to her, we were in the woods beside the school so no one would see Fulgur.

Fine but I'm staying close. She said, I shrugged and walked to the school, Dan right behind me, I walked in the building and shook what little water was on me off, Dan did the same and walked off to go to his class, I walked in the opposite direction heading for the gym.

"Hey shrimp." I heard the annoying snickering of a certain boy behind me, I turned and looked up into his cold blue eyes.

"What is it Black?" I said with a bored tone, I gave Zane Black a blank expression.

"Nothing I just didn't get to see my favorite punching bag yesterday so I thought I'd give you extra today." he said cracking his knuckles, I took an instinctive step back but he grabbed me and slammed me into a wall, I grunted but held my ground, he laughed and punched me in the gut, knocking the air out of me, I wheezed and pushed him off.
