Chapter Three (Macy POV)

I looked at the dragon in front of me in disbelief. "But that's not possible, I'm human and you're a dragon, we're completely different species, not to mention, dragons aren't real." I said.

Then how  am I standing before you today? She asked with a smug grin, I glared at her and stomped my foot.

"I don't know, you're just here, it could all be a big trick, I must be dreaming, any second now I'll wake up and Dan and I will go to school and this whole nightmare will be over." I said trying to wake up.

I assure you this is no dream, it is real, and I've come to take you home, of course to do that you'll need to activate your dragon form. She said looking me over.

"DRAGON FORM?!?!?!?! Now I know you're lying, I'm not a dragon and I never will be, it's not scientifically possible." I said.

You and your science, seeing is believing you would always say, yet you believed in God and you never saw him. What did you do sister, hit your head when you came, amnesia possibly, don't remember a thing about your home land. She said with a sigh.

"I don't get it, I only ever remember living here, if I came from your world why don't I remember it or you?" I asked accusingly.

You came here when you were very young, maybe 1 in human years, but you over 100 in dragon years, the thought of exploring lands intrigued you, you told the queen you wished to come to this land and you would return after you gathered what tiny amount of knowledge the humans possessed, but you never returned. She said.

"I don't believe you!!!!" I said as my eyes grew a little watery. "Now take me home!!!" I yelled at her.

But Trabea-. She tried to say.

"Don't call me that! My name is Macy Rivers, and I want to go home." I said.
She sighed again. Fine, get on my back, I will take you to your house. She said crouching down.

"Thank you. Come on guys get on." I said to my grandparents and Dan. Dan gave me a look of caution before helping me get my grandparents onto Fulgur's back and she took off into the midday sky.

Fulgur landed on top of the mountain next to mine and Dan's secret house. "How did you know this was here?" I asked her.

One, it was covered with yours and the boys scent, two this was the place the dragons build for you to stay in while you were here.  She said crouching down again, Dan and I slid off and helped my grandparents down.

"Thank you for saving me and my grandparents Fulgur but I think it's best if you go." I said looking away from her.

If I go then I'll just return, but I guess you do need time to process the information I gave you, so I will go hunt your earth prey for a while. She said flying off and almost knocking me down with the gust of wind her wings created.

"Mace-" Dan tried to say, I ran past him and into my room, I locked the door and jumped on the bed, tears came from eyes as I looked at my hands "I am human aren't I?" I thought to myself, to be honest Fulgur did bring up some good points, when I first met my dad I was already 1 and I had no recollection of a mother or even the year before that moment, he just took me in and said my mother died in a car accident and I lost my memory because I hit my head and I was with her at the moment.

I heard a knock on the door "Macy, can I come in?" Dan asked.

"Go away, I want to be alone." I said with a sniffle.

"Macy please." He said again, I stayed quiet "Macy open the door before I kick it down." he said threateningly.

"Please don't it took forever to fix the hinges when you did it last time." I said.
